@itsRyan did you happen to figure out why mine isn't working? Is there a new build?
Send me a RAM dump and I'll compare.
https://gbatemp.net/threads/questio...g-file-with-pointer-code.434481/#post-6535705
1. Load ACNL with NTR
2. Go inside of your house
3. Press X + Y to open NTR menu
4. Select Process Dumper 2.0
5. Select PID 0x28
6. Press B to dump all regions
7. Send me the 0004000000086300.bin found in 'dumps' folder on your SD card, and I'll compare with mine to see why your cheats aren't working.

I'll get on this now, thank you

EDIT: I'm not seeing a "Process Dumper 2.0" only "Process Manager"

Ah. I found it. I'm installing it now.
EDIT Again: I feel like a moron. Can't get it to show up in my NTR menu. Sorry for being so much trouble...

Ok, found out some things that might be interesting. So far, I just tested the Real Time World Edit code, which lets you spawn items.
- It only works outdoors. Make sure there's no villager in sight and there are as little stuff as possible in your sight (that counts flowers, trees, stones, buried items... everything), otherwise your game will crash when loading the cheat plugin. For best results, make sure all villagers are sleeping (do this very late at night, say about 3AM). The best spot to do this is in front of your house, just right after you load up your town and leave through the door (make a cleanup outside first, if possible).
- Spawn your item and pick it up with Y right after. Spawning another item before picking the past one up will make your game crash.
- The item IDs are messed up. But with some simple Hex operations you can just find out the new item ID for some old items. I used this hex calculator to calculate the new ID.
• For hats: some require you add 92 or 9C to your old item ID
• For shirts: add 4D to your old item ID
• For dresses: add 76 to your old item ID (thanks @Amayaforyou!)
• For pants and skirts: add 7F to your old item ID
• For shoes: Add 88 to your old item ID
• For socks: Add 84 to the old item ID (thanks Amayaforyou!)
• For wet suits: Add 7F to the old item ID
• For carpets: add 24 (this is a hex number! not decimal!) to your old item ID
• For wallpapers: add A to your old item ID
• For tools: add 311 to your old item ID (thanks @deishido!)
• For most furniture and gyroids: add AA to your old item ID
• For accessories: add AB to the old item ID (thanks Amayaforyou!)
• For umbrellas: add 91 to the old item ID (thanks Amayaforyou!)

@Edit:
• Fruit baskets kept the same item ID
• From 2ED6 to 30CB there are new furniture. I can't list them, sorry ;v;
• Garden items (saplings, flower bags, bush starts, fertilizer) kept the same ID
• 30CC onwards a Mannequin is spawned. I strongly recommend not spawning more mannequins because you won't be able to get rid of them.

I'll try to update as I test more stuff.

• Still haven't found out the pattern for dresses, socks and accessories >:
• Most furniture I tested kept the same item ID.
@Edit:
Some furniture require you add AA to the old item ID.

I'll try to update as I test more stuff.
Tested dresses, you need to add 76.
Tested socks, you need to add 84.
Tested shoes, added 106.
What I did was spawn a My Melody Dress and got a Kiki and something Dress, so you count how many items are between them and you convert that to hex.
You add the hex to the original ID and you got your item.
EDIT: Someone try these please, I don't know if they're completely accurate.

Has there been any research on how the weather works in this game? If it works like it did in Wild World, and with help from that Time Travel code, this should be much easier to search for. May take a look at this myself when I get some time.

I'll be honest, I always assumed weather was hard coded to some kind of algorithm linked to the calendar date or something, hence why you could see the forecast on the tv's and stuff. If there were a way to always have rainy days or something, that would be pretty neat. I wonder if forcing snow in the summer would do anything wierd..

I tried searching in City Folk but I've never found it..
I've found offsets that determine whether the villagers needed a umbrella or not, and lighting too.
I wish you luck on finding it :)

That could be true but ACWW also has TV and the weather channel, so maybe it's just our luck in finding it ;)

Also, testing build 3 is up, grass codes have been fixed, I've made a radio spoiler for the 'R + A codes' to further prevent crashes, text2item and duplication work for players 1-4 and online is kinda iffy, but thanks to @Slattz for finding online offsets :)
This will probably be the last test, so I'll merge it with the main branch once we get EUR and JAP finished.

@itsRyan , I've been meaning to ask you. Your new real time world editor is fantastic, and you said it basically obsoletes the old seeder code. Would it be possible to use this to move buildings and such or would it attempt to spawn a second of said building?

Yes it is and I'll be looking into it as soon as everything is fixed ;)
Just not in the code itself yet, but I do plan on making real time building seeder, where it plants a building where you're standing, or moves/deleting buildings. It's probably really dangerous, but hey, who doesn't like to live on the danger side? :tpi:

While discussing major town overhauls, I've found the new hexes for all the major equipment you may need to tear out trees and hit villagers with!

Hi, hate to sign up just to ask this but I'm having similar issues to OkazakiTheOtaku. I've tried so many different things from the last few pages here and the codes just aren't doing anything and/or crashes the game. I'm also using a Japanese 3DS to play my US cartridge of Animal Crossing. I have a dump file if you would take a look.

man, I don't know what's wrong with my game. tried everything , and it still gets stuck at the Nintendo 3ds logo. . . .

maybe it has something to do with where I got my update? it's not official, grabbed a cia of it and installed it like that. (I'm also running my game as a .cia

I'll try uninstalling it and grabbing a version from the eshop

Good job :) can't wait to use it on my eur game :) Maybe someone ask it before but does someone have a database of all the items' ID ? Because on the GitHub, it say "You can find item IDs here." but there is nothing.
