Ok, found out some things that might be interesting. So far, I just tested the Real Time World Edit code, which lets you spawn items.
- It only works outdoors. Make sure there's no villager in sight and there are as little stuff as possible in your sight (that counts flowers, trees, stones, buried items... everything), otherwise your game will crash when loading the cheat plugin. For best results, make sure all villagers are sleeping (do this very late at night, say about 3AM). The best spot to do this is in front of your house, just right after you load up your town and leave through the door (make a cleanup outside first, if possible).
- Spawn your item and pick it up with Y right after. Spawning another item before picking the past one up will make your game crash.
- The item IDs are messed up. But with some simple Hex operations you can just find out the new item ID for some old items. I used
this hex calculator to calculate the new ID.
• For hats: some require you add 92 or 9C to your old item ID
• For shirts: add 4D to your old item ID
• For dresses: add 76 to your old item ID (thanks
@Amayaforyou!)
• For pants and skirts: add 7F to your old item ID
• For shoes: Add 88 to your old item ID
• For socks: Add 84 to the old item ID (thanks Amayaforyou!)
• For wet suits: Add 7F to the old item ID
• For carpets: add 24 (this is a hex number! not decimal!) to your old item ID
• For wallpapers: add A to your old item ID
• For tools: add 311 to your old item ID (thanks
@deishido!)
• For most furniture and gyroids: add AA to your old item ID
• For accessories: add AB to the old item ID (thanks Amayaforyou!)
• For umbrellas: add 91 to the old item ID (thanks Amayaforyou!)
@Edit:
• Fruit baskets kept the same item ID
• From 2ED6 to 30CB there are new furniture. I can't list them, sorry ;v;
• Garden items (saplings, flower bags, bush starts, fertilizer) kept the same ID
• 30CC onwards a Mannequin is spawned. I strongly recommend not spawning more mannequins because you won't be able to get rid of them.
I'll try to update as I test more stuff.
