so i got this on my WII U (VC inject) and it runs fine
but at a certain part it crashes.

the scene where Iberco eats the ham. it freezes when it shows the spotlight on him

Hey, just made an account to thank you for all the work you put into the patch. Really appreciate it as a huge chibi robo fan, always wanted to play this one and was surprised when I randomly searched for it and saw it was finished. I wasn't able to find Mesa's teeth, so if you could point me in the right direction, that would be cool. Other than that, thanks for everything man!!!

I just made an account for GBAtemp to say how thankful I am for this translation patch. I've been a huge fan of Chibi Robo since GCN and this game is incredible. I imported the japanese version a few years back but havent been able to get past even the earliest parts. Its undoubtedly the best game I'll play all year and I never wouldve been able to play it without your hard work Cjuub. Thank you so much for the joy you have brought me, as I seriously feel so lucky to live in a world where someone would make this.

I have been wanting to play the this game for so long and just learned there's a fan translation I've been playing it for a while and absoulty love it! only one problem I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the Ghost creatures to get off I swipe the screen on the emulator as fast as I can and it does not want to work is there any work around?

I wanted to bump this thread because of the very little posts it has. I love this game and I really wish we would have got this instead of park patrol and they shouldn't have based Chibi's future on that "zip lash" game. It wasn't fair....

@Cjuub This is just something I noticed, but the patch you provide won't actually work on a real dump of the Chibi-Robo game, only the high-road scene release.
You might want to make a patch that'll apply to a rom that doesn't have an underdumped header at some point. (In addition to the high-road one, of course.)

Oh, I was not aware of that. Building a translated rom from scratch according to the instructions on Github should work in that case, as the scripts will extract the files before patching them (i.e. all offsets should be correct).

Good catch, but I probably won't supply a separate patch for it. I'm guessing this only applies for a few honest self-dumping souls out there.

I won't make a video but what are you confused about? Maybe I can make you a gif if you can't figure it out.

Ya get your rom, a patcher for xdelta, and the patch from the thread here and use the patcher to apply the patch to the rom.
Not that complicated.

you're gonna have to click on "Details", the fact that it errors means absolutely nothing

it could be cuz it's not compatible with your version of windows, you might be missing some .NET version, any number of things

I, too, am having a freezing error when Iberico the pig eats the ham. I am also using the Wii U virtual console for this. Please someone help me fix this error as I have no other real way to play this. Thank you!
