honestly I've considered but I don't have the time for that and I wouldn't want to downgrade to 2.1 and risk a brick besides all 3 of the 3ds I have installed menuhax on have not given me any problems just the 1 that won't boot into minipasta

What do you mean "I don't have time"? It takes 1 hour to do and isn't really dangerous. Downgrading to 9.2 is more dangerous, and you don't even have to do that.

you can't install luma on 11.0 and up at the moment you would have to downgrade your 3ds first but in order to do that you would have to get a hard mod because there's no way to downgrade right now

yeah once you've got everything set and read the guide to make sure you understand exactly what's going on and the steps you have to take... I'm a parent and work from home I don't have the luxury of sitting on my ass for more than an hour without interruptions from work or family...besides I already found a solution to my problem which was simple...when I really cannot do anything with menuhax and Emunand I will consider losing a night of sleep for a9lh like don't get me wrong I would want to have it now but I just do not have time for it at the moment

So it looks like NTR doesn't work with cartridges, then? That's kind of what I wanted to take screenshots of. Oh well, thanks for the help, guys! So then is there any way to take screenshots in-game when using an NDS cartridge?

That's because it's a prettty old version and not supported with the newest firmware.
Get it from here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/bootntr-11-1-nfirm-support.441566/
Thanks! Already done and booted into NTR so that part worked great. :D

Hey guys I have a new 3DS with 11.0.0.33-U and I have a physical copy of Zelda OOT. My friend is coming over soon and he already has a homebrew 3DS and he wants to help me out. I read somewhere that we can use his 3DS to setup Zelda OOT for me, is there any proper steps or guides for that?

You don't need any guide. Just put your OOT in his console. Then go to Homebrew Launcher, select OOTHax Installer. It will install it to your cartridge, and you can put your game back in your 3DS. Be aware that OOThax has problems with 11.0

Good Morning. I am new to the modded 3ds scene and I have a couple of questions. I currently have an o3ds with 11.1.0.34U(never been modded). Am i too late to jump in this pool. I read a few tutorials on a9lh and luma3ds and attempted to install to no avail. Put it on the root of my SD card and it would never boot to that would just boot directly in like normal. Am i missing something here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately for you, if you're on 11.1, either it's a hardmod (solder wires to 3DS motherboard) or you have a friend that has an already hacked 3DS

Thanks very much for the quick reply. I thought i might have been a bit to late. I currently do not know anyone who has a modded 3ds nor do i have the soldering skills to do a hardmod. Guess i will just have to wait till someone comes out with something at a later date.

Hi, I'm completely new to the 3DS scene so forgive if I ask something that should be obvious...
My 3DS is on its way and while I can't know the exact FW (I hope it's one that allows browserhax),
I'm certain it's in the 10.x range though, so I'm planning to install ALH9 using Plailect's Guide.
I have a few questions about some of the procedures... some of them might seem stupid, but I just want to be completely sure before starting :)

(Device = New 3DS XL,
FW = 10.0 .. 10.7)

1): On what to avoid when turning on / connecting the device to a WiFi for the first time / Browserhax
When I turn my 3DS on for the first time (with a new 64GB microSD, formatted to MBR instead of GTP, replacing the stock microSD),
is there anything that can mess up the procedure before connecting it?
Anything that can mess everything up after connecting to the internet?
Should I change the time, the date and initialize the savedata BEFORE or AFTER connecting it?
I'd guess it implies AFTER, since it suggests that I initialize the savedata as fast as possible.
Can opening the browser offline cause any trouble?

2): While I acknowledge the huge benefits and increased ease that the OTPless ALH9 brings,
is there any downside to not getting the console's OTP?

Thanks :)
