That is the only payload worth it for backups since it will never write over FIRM0 and FIRM1 (overwriting A9LH)

Doesn't the 3ds write save data onto them? Or is that on another partition of the card.

I'm about to do my third a9lh system today, it's a friend's. He has RXTools 4.2 sysnand and 10.3Emunand. I take it that as long as i make both backups i can just re insert it when the MOVE REDNAND part comes. And i should have no problem whatsoever at booting.
My previous two a9lh instalations were on 9.2 sys and 11.0 emu. And he has a version with a browser

And then just boot. It will automatically boot to the screen where you go when pressing Select. Choose your configs and then press start and it should boot correctly. Afterwards you can go in System Settings and update normally.

Can i extract the save games from those games with that Save Dongle and edit them in my pc with PokeGen or other program?
Also i would like to know if i can play those game in a flashcard (I understand that onlie Sky3DS+ can play 3DS games right now) with online functions (Trade via GTS, online battle, Friend Zafari etc)

It all depends on what version your 3ds is. If it's anything less than 11.0 you can do it freely with no extra hardware needed. (Games, save backup and homebrew edit tools. Even a pokemon bank made in homebrew)
Which would make the sky3ds or any other flashcart not worth it's price...
If so, just follow the plailect guide and you'll end up with an updated "permanent" cfw enabled to be able to do whatever you want with your 3ds. Just tell me your system version and we'll point you on where to start from.
You can find the system version inside the system settings applet (the one with a wrench icon)
