So I did the A9LH last night and restored my EmuNAND to SysNAND and now I can't access e-shop, miiverse and the other stuff that need NNID, anyone has any idea what I can do now to make it work again without having to format system, reinstall all my games and restore saves?

Tried cache tool but to no avail..

Also something i noticed that may be a part of the problem, my home menu has only about 70-80 "app slots", which is less than the amount of apps I had installed.
it expands as you install more. I think you are going to have to either go back to your original nand and back everything up (movable.sed and other things), or reinstall everything

Ah i miss this thread XD
so i got another question, i have an European A9LH 2DS, if i format it, do the region transfer method after i format it and change it to USA.
Will i be able to enter the eShop, purchase fieldrunners and do the DSiWare transfer method with an original USA 3DS?

Quick question: Which GW firmware do I have to use for an O3DS? 3.7.2 beta ultra or 3.4.1 ultra?
Updating emunand and GW, but it's been a long time since I did it last time and there's a few things I don't remember clearly...

Thanks for this reply.

In the end I got it to work via CTR transfer.

Edit: So I am finally done installing arm9hax and luma....and now I realize my SD card is too small to install .cia files.

Is it safe to swap SD cards while the 3ds is on and running firmware?
Welp, that may have been the issue all along. If you didn't have much space left, the 3ds couldn't possibly download(then apply) the update through the settings...

Yes you need that as well. Just place those files in the a9lh folder, then run safea9lhinstaller at boot by chainloading with Luma and then pressing select to update.

Alrighty. So i should just get all those files in the folder then chainload the payload at boot to apply them? Thanks a bunch! I'll try this tomorrow once i get the computer back

Can i use NTR in 11.1 without luma dev and firmware.bin? Where can i get that firmware.bin? (i think is not allowed to post that link, but give me a hint) And, it's dangerous to use Luma Dev?

No you don't need those if you use the latest BootNTR, and no it is not dangerous to use Luma Dev.
Edit: You also don't need luma dev for NTR either

By last you mean NTR CFW 3.4 Preview 2 or the stable one (3.2) ? If it's 3.4, how can i compile it?
You use NTR.bin from that, but the BootNTR needs to be obtained from here
The BootNTR.cia bundled with the NTR CFW is outdated, but an updated version to support the latest firmware was made by astronautlevel.

Hi, it's been a while since I've been here. The last time I checked the 3ds scene was when gateway 3ds released GATEWAY ULTRA v3.7.1. I would like to know what I have to do to update my 3ds to the latest firmware. Also, a lot of new things have been released since the last time I was here, so I don't exactly know where to start. Could someone help me update my 3ds to the latest firmware, and/or supply me with a list of everything new that has been released for the 3ds since the last time Iwas here? I would appreciate it very much. Thanks.

Installing A9LH, a boot time exploit, became extremely easy and is also becoming very common. It also provides software brick protection for sysNAND, allowing us to boot to CFW sysNAND in about the same time as a vanilla sysNAND would without worrying about softbricks.

So after I install this, will I be able to update my 3ds to the latest firmware? Will I need to update my gateway 3ds too?

Yes I believe Gateway requires an update to work, but iirc that update was already released.
Your best option would be to use Luma3ds (CFW) sysNAND, and then with that you can chainload GW emuNAND

Also gateway won't work immediately with A9LH, but there is a guide somewhere in these forums I'm sure someone can link you to that gets it tot work.

OK, do you know how I can start my 3ds from scratch? I would like to delete everything and install everything again to update everything at once.

I assume you have sysNAND 9.2 or lower, so you can system format (which will also wipe the SD card), then if you want to you can also format emuNAND. From there you just go on to part one of the guide: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-1-(Decrypt9)
Part 1 is just getting into Decrypt9.
In total the guide will take about an hour. Just be sure to read every step carefully.

OK, thank you. I just have one more question. Do you happen to have a list of all the homebrew, tweaks, cfw, etc. that have been released?
