Picodrive should start working now in the next nightlies.

Be aware that 32X/Virtua Racing will still be slow in this.

There might also be some developments with the PCSX ReARMed core, too early to tell yet though so I'm not going to prematurely get people's hopes up, but it could work.
Why is it that people working on the project would rather give information about RetroArch here than on their own "official feedback thread" ?

I would agree, but... have you seen that thread? It's like a ghost town.
These forums are far more active (Not just for Libretro aficionados but also for general Vita users) and the thread maintains up-to-date status on everything instead of being left within 50+ pages.
It's the same with the 3DS RA thread.

I visited there today wondering if there was any more info than what I've seen here...hardly any posts this month. It seems like this forum works out much better than the "official" one.

ive tried everything bro ! CATSFC Worked best for me...
easiest to load roms quickly
save states ect everything i threw at it worked fine
no troubles at all....

They're the SAME THING THO.
Literally, exactly the same.
RA's is just more developed.
CatSFC hasn't been updated since HENkaku became a thing.

Well maybe but if it ain't broke... Why fix it Still working perfectly here easy to use I personally like it better

It never tried to fix anything that wasn't broken; simply did what it could to improve performance.
Kirby Super Star is a great example of this.
And Super Mario RPG.
And to a lesser extent, Star Fox (2).

I agree with OP there.
I grabbed catsfc to play SMRPG and Kirby Superstar Ultra and it failed me. Retroarch's snes9x2005 solved that problem.
And it's updated often, too. I'd suggest that one in a heartbeat for overall compatibility.

Snes9x 2005 is just CATSFC renamed for some confusing reason. They should perform the same.

StarFox is a SuperFX game so don't expect that to run well.

yeah we ALL KNOW! lol
but i find it much easier than RA... in all aspects its quicker to find/load roms
& change roms ( pressing R & L Triggers ) where as in RA YOU Have to close game re load content ...
changing buttons for games.. is also easier ..
save states have icons/pictures...
& the main thing it works great!
as much as i like RA... when i first loaded it .. i found it confusing...
i know it well now... thru practice

I agree I use CATSFC and it works great.
And sounds great too.

I set my retro arch esc key sequence as LR&Y as the LR start select is just not manageable with two hands.
I guess I could use my toes.

Anyway the LR&Y is an issue in the retroarch snes setup and find I'm jumping out of the game every now and then.

Has anyone tested the saturn emu recently? I tried it about a week ago and it didn't seem to work.

It runs at about 2 fps. It's a proof of concept only. Saturn is really hard to emulate. It processes it's 3d polygons rather than triangles and also has a separate processor and a separate OS for its CD ROM drive from what I've heard.
