Still doesn't work... It's not very important for me, but maybe others have the same problem on a New3DS?
In the installer, could I install for most recent FW (11.0U) even though I'm on 10.3U currently? Also a general question, is it 11.0.0-33U for everyone or does the -## vary for people (within the same region)?
So what exactly didn't work for you? Does the game crash or does it just delete the savedata due to "corruption"?

Yeah, I'm planning on updating to 11.0U and using this as my entrypoint on that FW since Ninjhax still needs to be updated for it. Just wondering if there's anything I'm missing in this process. (And I don't want to go through the process of installing CFW)
I'd try it on 10.3 first. After that you can just download the 11 otherapp payload to your sd. That's the whole point on why I did this.
I know that, I deleted the update and 1.0 has no version number.
Tried that, just crashed to the Nintendo error screen ("the software needs to be restarted").
And here is the funny thing: I just tried to install it again and now it WORKS!
I don't really want to be "that guy" but no plans on downgrading? it would probably be better in the long run, and you can easily do that on the current firmware you're on. if not, I would stay on your current firmware and use things like ctr-httpwn to keep eShop/etc.
either way there is a browserhax for the latest version (for now) so there's that.
So if I understand this right, I install as a test on 10.3U and have 11.0U otherapp downloaded, update if it all works to 11.0U, then launch through otherapp for 11.0U to properly install it for 11.0U? Sorry if I'm drilling something pretty basic
Just downloaded the game,I can't see the version I am on the top right of the bottom screen nor can I find the save slots.I run the game once and chose the Miitoo

Yeah version 1.0 doesn't seem to show it. Also the game doesn't even have save slots, that slot thing is just a workaround.
I've been using ctr-httpwn and it worked fine on my now bricked 3DS on 10.7, but it has known issues on 10.3 on my current console specifically which apparently seem difficult to fix. And I've already had a 3DS brick on me, not going to risk it by doing CFW.
No version displayed means you have v1.0. The game has no save slots, it's just a leftover in the installer, just ignore it (others suggested to install to slot 2). You first need to start the game, choose your Mii and THEN install the exploit.

what issues? it should work just fine on 10.3 U.
I would still suggest giving it a try using the new guide by Plailect, it's easy. even if you get a soft brick with downgrading you can still update and have a working system. you won't hardbrick if you follow it exactly. if you really don't want to do that, you should stay on 10.3 (ctr-httpwn should work fine, try it?).
