This game is great and was very innovative back then!
How I wish SEGA would continue with their franchises like Phantasy Star, Shining Force, Comix Zone, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Alienstorm and so many others on current gen consoles, it sure would beat the hell out of the mostly indie shovelware we are presented every week.

Seriously, i appreciate the phantasy star series before it went online. Except for the difficulty and lack of umm.... what the word i am looking for... GUIDANCE, is just a very cherished series. Phantasy star 4 I could maybe beat but the others are just OH MY GOD, SO SLOW, SO CONFUSING.
I heard that ps2 Exclusive sega ages collection has remakes for the games, if they just Put them all on a compilation disc remaster in HD, and translated it and sold it for $40 ($10 for each game on digital services) That be great.
The games that really need the spotlight are the ones done by treasure, Dynamite headdy, Gunstar heroes, Alien Soldier, Guardian heroes, Burning Rangers, THE MONSTER WORLD SEIRES, ALEX KIDD, Shinobi, Hang ON, Space harrier.
You know what? When sega was making arcade games they were actually worth playing, then they decided to do consoles and then sink the ship. All they needed was that YU SUZUKI Guy who was doing all those arcade games.

maaaan, I absolutely love the first toe jam & earl, played it to death as a kid. But this looks p bad, we'll see I guess.
Game play is everything. Looks are the bait, and so is legacy.
