Points and LVL for IA/VT. It works, but will error out on the menu. No idea what the error means, but it probably correlates to the points and lvl being directly related? Not really sure.

The values for Shiren The Wanderer are proving to be pretty damn elusive. I don't think money is calculated normally, nor by the individual bags of gitan one picks up.
CWCheats Vita plugin when?

Persona 4 Dancing Money Values
Editing the cash and loading the save will cause the game to create a new save without warning. I'm assuming it has a checksum of some sort.

i edited my save data using this
i found a way to decrypt the save file ftp:
1. go to ux0:/app/vitashell download the EBOOT.bin
2. go to ux0:/app/gameid download the EBOOT.bin of the game
3. change the EBOOt.bin of the game you want to edit to vitashells EBOOT.bin
4. close VS boot up the game it should boot the vitashell
5. connect to your ftp again
4. go to savedata0: you will see your save data file it should be decrypted
5. do the editing up to you. after that
6. replace your save data file with the edited one
7. go back to ux0:/app/gameid upload back the original game EBOOT.bin

but i cant load my save data, it says its corrupt.

can someone help me what did i do wrong. do i need to permanently connect to the molecular shell white transfering the save back? i dont know what to do

Sometimes an edit will cause the data not to load. Always remember to back it up before editing.
And do you need to permanently connect to MS/VS? When you're transferring the save data back to it's original folder yeah, of course.

good news right :) -- oh very good! i knew he was working on cheats, but not built in scanning! awesome!

also do you do mind typing out the save data offsets you find, instead of just uploading a picture? i'm not sure if it takes you a long time, but it's much easier for us to see and access, copy and paste etc. you can copy and paste them here maybe, but we can't do it from your image!

thanks

wow... what a noob.

yeah - release the source for something not yet complete, so people can finish it...

because obviously rin is not the best person for the job of finishing his own tool...

(sure open source is nice, but, i think it's fine to leave closed until it's in a working finished state, especially if it is actively being worked on lol)

Seriously!? You need an app on a hacked Vita to edit save data? When is somebody gonna get off their ass and write a brute force tool or something like we had for PS3? Don't tell me with all the processing power possible nowadays it still can't be brute forced in a sane amount of time. I have no intention of hacking my Vita TV or the real Vita I intend to get on black friday. I just want to edit my goddamn armor on the EDF games.

Lol yeah, it's pretty awesome. I agree that he shouldn't release the source, at least not until it's in a presentable and stable build. I for one would love to read the code for the cheat engine he's creating since CWCheat/TempAR's source codes are nowhere to be found.

On another note, I'll post the offsets. I guess it could be confusing to some who aren't familiar with cheat engine.

Good luck finding someone willing to do Aldos-tier bruteforce work for the Vita, mate. You're gonna be waiting a loooong time.

I got bored and found some addresses for Cold Steel. I originally did this so I could change Rean's level to 80 for CS2, but I ended up poking around for other stat address for Rean and the other characters out of boredom.

Some haven't been tested so make sure to make a backup of your save if you're editing.

Atelier Sophie has some sort of system that checks for save modifications upon loading.

If anyone still wants to try and edit it, searching for the value of money in cheat engine is the easiest way, as my hex editor (Hex Workshop Hex Editor) filtered out different results each time (no static cash value?). Do a 2-byte search for it.

Pic related, the error. Rin's cheat engine will circumvent this since it allows for in-game editing.

wow very scary! interesting that it doesn't just say 'corrupt save', and actually points out your editing to you...
maybe it's still as simple as fixing the checksum.

and sure real time cheat codes will circumvent it, but it's a different thing, a different method - now that you pointed out sophie is a bit strict i want us to try and crack the save and then maybe i can add it to my list of atelier save editors to make :)

(cheat codes are good for some games/all games, but some games are more complex and save editors are very useful, for example games where you have many items that are customizable, organizing the items in your box etc ) mario games wouldn't need a save editor, but pokemon games would benefit

Mhmm. Complex games like Sophie, or Atelier in general, can be a bit of a bitch to modify. Especially when it pertains to item quality and the like. Going through the bytes value by value would quickly become tiresome.
In any case, I'll try to see what I come do with Atelier Sophie. I'm probably gonna compare two save data and see what changes here and there. If it has a checksum like you said (which is most likely does), then I think our only hope will be RinCheat. If Rinne is as good a developer as I think he is, it'll likely be even more robust than CWCheat.

no, if is has a chemsum it's not the end of the world at all, we just need to work out how the checksum is calculated. i haven't done anything like that before really, but from what i understand many times the checksum is quite simple, just a hash like some form of crc or md5, stuff like that, over all the data.

the checksum doesn't always mean to stop hackers, it can just be a check for making sure the save is not corrupted, a valid concern.
but for sophie from your image... yeah, they talk about it being edited, not corrupt.

maybe it can check against corrupt and also still check against edited... i want to find out! :)
