I installed al9h + luma and I have also emunand and I'm using it with gateway, the gateway Launcher.dat I'm using is 3.7.1, do I need to use the latest 3.4 ultra to update my emunand? or I can simply go to system settings and update?

Yet another user who hasn't picked up his O3DS in years. Don't really care about anything other than playing new games. I'm on SysNAND 4.4 and GW 3.3. Can I just update to 3.7.1 GW by replacing launcher.dat, then update EmuNAND to the latest Nintendo has to offer, just like I always did? Should I use 3.7.1 or 3.4.1 for GW?

I've been out of the gateway card scene for a while, but I lost functionality after the 11.0 update.

Now I have an UNHACKED 3ds with 9.9.0 on it.

What would be the best and easiest way to get gateway cards working on it?

Downgrade to 9.2, then follow instructions on the gateway 3ds website (has a whole manual) to set up gateway

Well I stupidly upgraded Gateway to 11.1 and now the flashcart won't work (it worked on 11.0 on the N3DS XL), so now I guess I have to revert to anything 11.0 or under

M'en, m'y 3ds does strange things. I'm the only one who can't access hombrew with hblauncher cia but I'm alone again since m'y gw menu works perfectly on last update 1,11,0,34 eur.
How Can i fix this?

So I own an SMT IV retail cart and I have a gateway with SMT IV Apocalypse rom on it. SMT IV Apocalypse lets you import your save from the original SMT IV. Is there anyway I can do this with gateway?

Is Gateways website down or am I so out of the loop I forgot what it was? I am trying to get my N3DS set up again and updated now that Dragon Quest is out and Pokemon coming out hopefully later this year, I want to make sure I'm on the highest version of emunand and GW I can be but I am having trouble finding their website now and information about it? Is GW pretty much done these days or are things still happening with it.

Weird, when I followed a link I found from the forum I was able to access their website, but when I google gateway-3ds it sends me to the same website but with https infront of it and it's not a real website, never seen that before.

Anyway, so I am reading about current GW versions and I am on 3.7, is it safe to update emunand to the newest version?

If I want to install the new 4.1 or 4.2 gateway, can I do it like normal as I always have and just copy the files to my SD card/gw card and launch like normal, or do I need to follow those secondary steps and install that time machine crap they are talking about? I just want to be on the most up to date version possible for emunand I don't need this fastboot or arm9 or whatever, everything is fine the way it is with my ds profile exploit on my n3ds.

I have a problem with my gw card I made an update to Firmware GW 3.7.2-BETA Ultra the card update good but I can not update the emunand to fw 11 it gives me error thanks

If anyone wanted to know out of interest I just installed A9LH on my N3DSXL and it was so dead easy, so simple. What I didn't realize that was with Plailects guide if your on firmware 9.2 already on an N3DS then you literally go straight to the last section installing A9LH, if I knew this to begin with I would of done it a while ago also if you still want to use Gateway on systemnand afterwards then all you do is put 2 extra files back on your sd card, rename them both and that's it you have Gateway again and then all you do is hold down on the d-pad and select fast boot and you have Gateway as well, I'm not sure how you activate Gateway asap into systemnand I have not worked that out yet which I would of liked. I suggest if any Gateway users like me are worrying then don't, go straight to the A9LH section in the Plailect's guide with your N3DS follow the instructions and your done so easy, really and its worth it you have everything on the latest firmware on systemnand, its so much better than keep booting into emunand also you can transfer everything of your old emunand into your A9LH systemnand really easy steps mine didn't fault once!

Is there a limit to how many cheats a file can contain for gateway? I'm trying to load the cheat database for Pokemon X from fort42 but it says it could not load the cheats.

i think it has a max of 100 codes, but i believe you can just put the codes together and make it read as one while both take effect. try removing the card and msd that happens to me sometimes as well.

Thanks for the tip. I removed it a couple of times but that didn't work. I'll try to combine some of the codes.

if that doesnt work go to the Gateway Omega(browser) menu and run an msd diagnostic test.

11.1 OFW no, you need a downgrade (DSiWare or hardmod). But emuNAND or a9lh (sysNAND or emuNAND), yeah.
And most people would tell you that if you got a Gateway-compatible 3DS, then you don't need a Gateway. Except really if your priority number one is cheats but in all other cases (including the one where you want cheats but it's not your priority number one), you don't need a Gateway.
