The vita has good games, it has a abundance, and the majority of them are ports or multiplatform games. The vita has the lowest count for exclusive games, which is probably the most important reason to buy one. With most of the games being available on PS3/PS4, or even getting ports to other systesm like PC or something, the small list of games they have is bad. I have a vita, and i bought it for phantasy star online 2 which has no confirmed release date cause i thought it be the only way to play it, but now since it taking so long i bet it will be for ps4 or something. Games like Ys memories of celceta, Tales of heart R, Persona 4 golder (I have but have not played yet) Are probably the only games i will ever have for it while i wait for some new ones or just another emulation machiene.
I'm not trying to sound mean but if you don't have enough exclusive content for a system, it doesn't give people much reason to buy it other than is a cheap alternative and may provide even less content since the prices is not higher. More like budget games for mobile and full scale projects for consoles. I think the vita is a interesting sucessor to psp but it does need to stand out more. I can see if they were going by quality of the titles and to provide cheap alternative to console gaming while maintaing the ability to play console quality games, but it has to provide more reasons to buy it like Wii u. It also has a very low count of games available but the games they do have are worth getting if you want to play them cause your not gonna find it anywhere else. I can get a ps4 and play more than 60% of the games that is available on the vita with it. I can't say the same for 3DS and wii u
