After some testing...

Nestopia finally works. However Gryzor (J) doesn't work (Kickback to Quick Menu). But if it means anything, Zelda No Densetsu held it's save.
PrBoom finally works (officially). Go nuts, kill demons now.
FBA Full and MAME still do not function.
NXEngine still has the inventory bug as stated.
FCEUmm is officially unbroken now. Yay.
GPsp works, but... don't expect good performance. Considerably faster than VBA Next, but... still lags behind. Also, Kingdom Hearts' intro is not rendered properly and SLOWWWW compared to VBA.
NGP still crashes after loading a second ROM.

Overall: Make of it what you will.

I also found out that apparently Libretro had me blocked on Twitter so... looks like I can't keep tabs on Vita updates without physically checking. Hrm.

Gambette won't hold it's saves.

Edit: Nevermind, got it to work by exiting through the emulator.

Yes, it worked for me a few days ago. Runs at 60fps and I played through level one to test.

Does anyone have a link to a working patched copy of Progear Red Label: Halfway to Hell?

Reminder: It's against the rules to request ROMs for copyrighted material (Hack or otherwise).
Use Google; it's your best friend.

It might be a good idea to add information about RetroArch overlays to this thread.

I likely shouldn't, for a few different reasons;

A) It's an optional feature that is not supportive or detrimental towards Vita performance.

B) Overlays do not come with RetroArch or the Libretro cores, and thus are not something a first timer would likely need to mess with.

C) This is more a general RetroArch-wide subject matter, where this thread is focused towards Vita-specific developments; more the "what's happening" rather than the "how to" sort of information thread.

They also post news on Reddit (which is basically copypaste tweet) so you can still keep up.
Also I've been playing Cave Story on nxengine for a bit and never came across inventory bugs of any kind. Though it was my first time playing Cave Story so I'm not sure if I'm missing something. I'm a few hours in though.

@SeongGino
That you removed the strike from pcsx_rearmed_libretro.vpk in the first post without that it is available again makes you a monster.
I had so high hopes... Don't play with my feelings.

Anybody know why RetroArch arbitrarily decides to ignore all input? I thought I had the problem licked, but it's back, this time in an entirely different core. Deleting the config file and the RetroArch folder doesn't seem to help. I'd use the emulator more if it weren't so temperamental...

EDIT: Updating to 8/15/16 seems to have resolved the issue, at least for the moment. But I really wish there were a way to reassign buttons in the Neo-Geo core without messing with the buttons for all the other cores. You can actually do this with the Handy core... why is this not possible for the Neo-Geo as well? Someone please fix this!

Not that I noticed at least. Tyrquake still crashes while loading the game, VBA next may have gotten a bit faster but i only tested with a Kirby game heh.
TGBDual is now in, not sure if it was in the 08/15, which is basically a gameboy color emulator allowing local link cable play on the same console (I.E on a PSTV with another controller playing the 'second' gameboy)
