Only thing I can't wait to be translated in this game is the main menu, in-game menu and the character moves. I can guess why that most fan translation projects only do that stuff and that's because dialogue could end up being a disaster if you translate it wrong.

We've made a lot of progress. Menu translations should be a piece of cake. Everything else is currently being translated pretty efficiently

I'm trying my best to keep it as literal as possible, the problem is the lines are not in order so I have no context of who's speaking to who, what where or when,
and Japanese love to drop the subject of sentences, but that's why we also have to do proof reading

We could use people to proof read when it's all translated, the more the better I think, since there's a lot of lines of text to check,
You can ask, @Psi-hate so he lets you know when it's time

OK awesome. Here's a good question, do you have the character names translated down good? If you could get those translated then it would be easy to see who says what right?

The lines don't mention any characters, it's just a group of random lines with number Markers,
so you don't know who's talking or who he/she is talking to

As for finding out correct spellings of names I'm using the Dragonball Wiki ex. Taresu = Turles (This actually blew my mind when I figured it out lol, so I decided to use the Wiki from then on)

The only problem is the Fusion names, you don't know who fused with who, so I'm translating them exactly as they're written and we can verify them later

Ah well the wiki should help even though there's no mention of kid goku and kid trunks fusioning in the wiki even though thats who you can fuse at the beginning of the game after they join your team.

Kid Trunks is just called Trunks and Goky is called Goku

This zip contains a text file with everything in it (more proper dump), with the furigana stripped and control characters renamed to {x1}, {x2} and so forth.
There is an HTML file in here too, it neds to be renamed to script.html, instead of script-html.txt

You can open that and auto translate the right column in google chrome to get a rough idea of the script via google translate (i knw, i know, not the best, whatever).

I'm probably gonna give the project a few weeks to get to a stable state where we have everything we need. I think I'll focus my eforts helping speed things up with the rebuilding process and testing for context errors.

Um, never mind what I said, turns out there are close to 20,000 blocks of text that need to be translated, so this may take a little longer than I thought

well, I do not know much of the translation process, but will in two months at least part of the menu will be translated? I think the story of this game should be pretty crazy (in short, no sense), and therefore have no interest in it
