As the title states, whenever I attempt to load a game with USB Loader GX it returns me to the Homebrew Channel. I've tried two different games: Wario Ware Smooth Moves, and Okami.

I am using USB Loader GX Version 3.0 I believe. The screen is quite blurry in the credits

Your IOS249/250 are Waninkoko cIOS r21, which is rather old. It's recommended to use d2x cIOS r8 or r10 nowadays. Those should work, though.

USB Loader GX v3.0 covers about three years of releases so it's better to list the actual revision number you're using. r1260 is the latest.

If the credits screen is showing "3.0c" you're using the channel version and it's no longer supported.

Thanks for the reply!

I can't quite read the screen too well. In the top right corner it looks like it says ".30 IOS249 (Rev 21) W[Blur] .21 base 56"

I'll try to change the cIOS and report back.

For some reason people learn towards usb loader gx but I use cfg usb loader and just think it's better and awesome. I have a modified version that has my gamecube games with nintendont with covers listed with wii games, never have any issues with using it. I hear people saying they have problems with usb loader gx all the time and I did as well. Not trying to force my opinion off on anybody because it doesn't matter to me ultimately which loader someone uses, just telling my experience.

That doesn't help him with his question. Besides, CFG hasn't been maintained for a few years now and with 898 pages in the support thread I'd say others have had trouble with it at some point as well. :)

Changing the cIOS worked perfectly. It said I was running USB Loader GX 1180 just for the record.

Thank you so much for the help! I replyed earlier but that didn't seem to go through.
