Nice Savegame, I can load it in the editor but MHGen crashes right before the title screen. :/

There must be something special with my version. Currently I'm unable to send PNs, so I created an empty savegame with a fresh character:

For testing purposes I opened the savegame with the editor (v0.08) and added one zeny.
Uploading the savegame back to the 3DS, I get to the character selection, but my testing character still has 1500z on the screen. When I'm trying to load the savegame, I get to the loading screen and after a short time, I'm back on the home menu.

Please tell me, what's wrong with my system

Which one are you trying to import into your save? When you edit in Zenny to your game, it won't show on the loading screen until you loaded into the game.

The First one is the fresh, unedited and correctly loading savegame.
The second one crashes on the loading screen, so I cannot verify if the real money value has changed

Zenny is so easy to get in-game though so why hack it in your game anyway? Hack yourself 99x gold egg then sell them all for 20,000 zenny if you really want a lot.

Edit: Scratch that, saw you did. Just edited the Zennys by 1. If that's all you did then there's really no reason why it's crashing.

Did you load into this character and saving before exporting it?

No prob.
I created the character, talked the red bubbles away, petted that goaty thing and saved the game by sleeping.

@Svaethier: I'm just testing. Small changes, that are safe to do and quick to verifiy.

It must be something in your end. It could be one of these reasons why:
- Your game is corrupted or you installed a bad cia or something.
- What you are using to export/import the save data keeps on corrupting the save.
- You are using bad plugins which is crashing the game on start.

try this one: JK's MHGen excluslive exporter (designed for specifically digital copies of MHGen that had problems with the normal JKSV)

Ok, I downloaded your save that wasn't working and it worked just fine. It even added the 1 zenny which you edited.

Thanks, but it's not the Savegame Manager, it's the way I transfered the the file to my pc. I'm not into finding out what ftpd did wrong after hours of wasting time with testing stuff and ripping out my hair.

Thanks for testing, but I found the problem a few minutes ago

So it seems like it was transferring your save file that was the problem. I don't think its ftpd and might be the client that your using. It might be you internet that's the problem. I client I been using for a while is FileZilla and it works just fine.

Refer to this, look under the usage tab.

If you want to unlock the items then just use the unlock all palico button in the save editor.
