I have 2 N3DS. I don't want one of them anymore, and I want to sell it. No, the one I want to sell does not have any kernel exploits, or exploits at all.

What would be a good price to resell it to someone? I don't want to go underprice, or overprice.

It was purchased brand new for $200 over a year ago. Everything still functional, no drop, nothing. Damage free.

you need fw numbers before a proper price can be set

Maybe pictures would help mark a price for your console. Firmware and things don't matter unless your marketing it toward the hax crowd. Condition is everything and although everything is functional, I'd be interested in cosmetics if I was buying.

it's a normal black N3DS XL. I am also not selling it linked with my eShop, so it will come with nothing besides the system itself, stylus, maybe a charger if you need it and I can find an extra one. I still have the box sitting on the shelf with all the manuals and stuff, so I'll also try to sell it with that too lool. Also, I cannot sell it online. I am just asking for the price to sell it for.

maybe as mush as gamestop sells a used one for. so between $175-$200 depending on what comes with it.

Hmmmm... Idk. That is too expensive to charge someone for a used system. I'm sure people ain't that foolish to pay for a used system that cost as much as a new one.

Have any of you ever sold a 3DS before?

In order to know how much you should sell it for, one needs to ask themselves how much would you pay someone else for a used system? Even if it is cosmetically in good condition most people would prefer to just pay full price and know they still have a warranty and receipt if anything went wrong.

really??? they could just go out and buy a brand new one for full price if they're willing to pay full price for a used console, even if it's still in good condition.
also, idk. I'll just take whatever price that my conscience tells me reasonable. Most I'm willing to pay someone is $130, but idk. How much value do you think a perfectly fine N3DS have?

I'd say $120 to $150. I see that price on craigslist pretty often and those listings dissappear. The ones that are over that price usually stay there so I'm guessing they don't sell.

I'd like to add that I managed to snag a Fire Emblem: Fates n3dsxl that was like new for $140 off of craigslist. It was even dual ips.

Did you have to call the merchant and arrange a rendezvous to buy? Or does he/she just send the system to your house via mail?

What's the point of Craigslist if you're not buying locally? You might as well just sell on eBay, and have much better safety measures than just trusting the dude's actually sending you what he said he would.

I plan on selling it locally. I just want to know if it's actually safe to sell it on Craigslist. Also, I can't really sell stuff online for any kind of digital currency

You're literally meeting a stranger to hand over a $200 device and are hoping they have the money in their hand instead of a knife or a gun. There's no way to find out who your buyer is before you meet. The best suggestion I can offer is to ask them to meet you in a public place. I sold my old 3DS at a Starbucks.

I was kidding, of course, but it IS a possibility, the same possibility for every stranger you meet. But are you just gonna stay inside from now on?

Loool, no.
As for the 3DS, I'll find someone who wants it and sell it.
I think I'll probably go for around $130 or $140

I buy a lot of stuff from craigslist. Depending on what info they left, I usually text or email the seller telling them I'm interested. Then, they confirm that the item is still available and after that we decide on a time and place that works for both of us.
Use common sense when deciding the rendezvous point. If they don't wanna meet somewhere public just call it off.

I don't recommend selling on ebay because their fees are really high. Plus you have to pay PayPal fees as well. I sold a Gamecube component cable on ebay for $215 recently and I only ended up actually making a little less than $190.
