I agree with @ihaveamac , but if you really wanna brick it, no better way than a few good blows with a sledgehammer.

Try"NoNAND"ing it, by hardmodding it with a USB and plug the USB into a wall. XD

You can permanently damage the 3DS without touching your NAND, and I think it's even possible from userland, just with a plain 3dsx
If you *really* don't want to sell it (my old3DS is almost dead, I might need another old3DS for developing homebrew), then you can ask me for a bricker 3dsx.

Step 1: Get a hardmod
Step 2: Downgrade
Step 3:Get Arm9loaderhax
Step 4: Get godmode9
Step 5: Delete firm 0 and firm 1
Step 6: Hit your brand new brick with a brick to make sure its bricked
Step 7: Profit
This is the best way as you as not only you get a brick, you also satisfy all the people saying to get a hardmod!
