The latest Wii System Menu is 4.3 which they will install and remove all softmods. But 4.3 is still hackable so you would just have to rehack it over again.

I'm probably going to try to get an autoboot modchip for my wii. I don't really feel like giving my wii to nintendo. Can someone give me a link to a website that sells them? One website I found want $119 for one.

Honestly, I think your best bet at this point would be to just find a cheap used Wii. No sence throwing money at something that may or may not work.

Before you do anything else, did you install BootMii in Boot2 and do you have PriiLoader installed? Also, run and post another syscheck just so we can make sure your Wii is up to date. Be sure to use this guide here (https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/).

Now what exactly are you trying to do with your custom wad?

Remember, don't install or patch anything below IOS200 except installing Priiloader.

I did install everything and my wii is fully up to date. I also did a nand backup just to be safe. When I installed homebrew it mounted my sd card amd deleted all of my wads including the one that bricked my wii. The auto injector doesn't work 100% even though it said it completed. Not sure what I need to fix it.

What auto-injector? And keep in mind that channels (including WiiWare/VC) can brick your system menu if they're bad.

I used two different ones and they both have the same error. It was the wad i tried injecting that bricked my wii because even though the auto injector crashed, it still said it completed.

I wouldn't do that, then. If you're making custom VC wads just use EmuNAND or NEEK to run them or use an emulator. Don't install them on real NAND.
