Aksys Games localizing Tokyo Xanadu for PS Vita/Steam

Tokyko-Xanadu-PSV-Conf.jpg

Aksys Games has confirmed that they will be bringing Falcom's JRPG Tokyo Xanadu to the west, sometime in early 2017. It will be releasing on Playstation Vita (Both Physical and Digital) and PC, with no plans to bring over the definitive PS4 version at the time of writing. they will also be localizing titles such as Chase Cold Case Investigations, Code Realize Future Blessings, Bad Apple Wars, Period Cube, and Collar X Mallice, all due for a 2017 release.

Interesting; you'd think PS4 would be more profitable than Vita, although the latter seems to be the go-to machine for obscure weeb games.

Has Aksys published anything on Steam aside from the abysmal Mind Zero port? Hopefully Falcom's in charge of the actual porting; I think they were mostly in charge of the Ys and Trails ports, right?

Still surprised it isn't XSeed localizing it. I would have preferred them but Aksys should be able to do a good job too. I love falcom games so I'm really interested in this

I think Aksys published all the Blazblue ports on Steam. Don´t know about the quality of the porting, though.
