You don't really get 3 free tomatoes. It's just the game showing how tomatoes and using them to buy songs works. No real transaction are happening through the server.

degausse3ds (HBL) cannot import custom songs. If the PC version didn't work for you it is suggested that you create a custom song yourself. It doesn't have to be an actual song. Just place one note and name it whatever you want. THEN try importing again. Hope this helps.

Are you using the debut version? (did the game have you scan your face at the beginning and create a creepy Vocaloid character? That's not in Debut) Degausser won't work with it in my experience

I believe that part is only meant as tutorial on how buying songs with tomatoes works. I don't believe you require an internet connection for that part, though I may be wrong. I'm fairly certain you don't *actually* have any tomatoes then, however. Besides, I believe one's tomato amounts are verified with Nintendo's servers when you connect to the internet based on how it updates expired tomatoes to being gone only after a connection has been established.

EDIT: For some reason the thread didn't show me any replies after this one when i got here, so I didn't know someone else already replied to this.

i found it cant work out how to save i used the book logo that seemed to work but still getting the same error with importing to extdata

Are using the Debut version perchance? Degausser won't work with it. (Did the game take your picture to create a creepy Vocaloid character at the beginning? That's not in Debut.)

@ultramario1998 kingraa wouldn't be able to create custom song if it was the Debut version.

@kingraa Try restarting over again and this time install the game update. It will make doing the intro faster. Once finish go and create a custom song. Like said before it doesn't have to be an actual song. Place one note, name it anything and save it (yes the book icon thing is the save button). Then try using Degausser on PC. To export/import the game extdata you would have to use the savedatafilter. The extdata for the game is "00000a0b".

Now that's out of the way I've been busy doing a little project: Making English version to some of my favorite Japanese song, official and fan translation/adaptation. Here's two that I have finished.

Don't bother with degausser on PC, it's mainly used for custom songs, just use the 3DS homebrew it's easier.
Once you have created a custom song, you must create a bbpimport/ folder at the root of your SD cart and put any bbp files you want, then launch the homebrew to import. Everything is written in the readme.

Edit:
IF in the future you must use savedatafilter:
-launch savedatafilter
-press right to go to Ext tab
-select 00000a0b
-Y button to export
-do your things, put back on SD card then
-Press right 2 times to go to SD tab
-select 00000a0b and A to import.
