I just read about "Enable region/language emulation"...now, is it possible to play multiplayer *let's say Mario Kart 7* with another 3ds with different region if I use this feature?

This will just make the game (not the servers afaik) think you're from another region and/or country.

I'm still unable to boot the latest version of arm9loaderhax without an SD in my O3DS 11.0 sysnand with Luma. :/
Anyone has any insight as to why this might be happening?

My N3DS is working without the SD just fine, it's just the damn O3DS. xD

this happened to me once too, also with og3ds like yours.

but it happened totally randomly, not because of updating or anything, i just powered it on and was greeted with the error that shows for you. (iirc. the error started poppin up and sticked permanent right after i tried to install some game cia with BBM the progress of installing the cia went up to about 30 or 50% and it crashed with the error to power off the 3ds.)

after that it became permanent, like whenever i powered it on , the error would pop up.
i was forced to format the Sd card and recopy the files and it worked again, i think i did have to setup a new emuNAND (i was using updated sysNAND on it, had no emuNAND).

i am really afraid of this random issue, i have updated sysNAND only in my n3ds.
personally i think it is safer to have emuNAND + sysNAND over updated sysNAND.

if i was not so lazy these days, i would put emuNAND back on my n3ds just to stay safer.

If you're asking about sending the MK7 Download Play demo to a console from a different region, it's not possible yet... though I don't know what you're asking for in particular. (@Zhull)

About downgrading, I don't think it's specific to Luma (just classical downgrade hell).

I thought that with this feature, I can finally play multiplayer games *online and local* without region limitation anymore...

Anyone has successfully updated to the latest A9LH for a O3DS and has been able to boot it without an SD?
And if someone did, could you lend me the files you used as well as what steps did you do exactly?

That really sucks ! but regardless of the chance of that error becoming permanent , there's still a chance to unbrick even if you have the sysnand with luma/arm9 isn't it ?

Helping someone after a9lh install. Luma chain-loading not working. Ive looked at his sd card setup, folders seem correct, payload names are correct. I have made sure he is using current arm9loaderhax.bin, I have made sure he is using updated payloads. his payloads just aren't loading. Something I am missing?

I have done it on two O3DS's and one N3DS. I am at work now and do not have the files on me but I can get them to you later.

Is there anything you have done to this O3DS that we should know about? If you have a modified secureinfo_A that may cause it to fail.

Changing regions I believe? Or maybe modifying it to get around console bans?

Oh no, I haven't touched the region at all.
Only thing I did was fucking around with TWL but that was WAY back before A9LH, and I already have DSiWare/DS/GBA games working with the CIAs from the troubleshooting.

Out of that, haven't touched anything else.

Maybe the mini-CFW (no SD function) just doesn't work on O3DS yet?
