Hacking Beginner confused on homebrew 3DS 11.0-33u

Beginnger Looking to Get into Homebrew

I am a beginner, who bought his Wii about 5-6 years ago. I remember getting Homebrew and being able to play games
on that using the old SD card.

Recently bought a 3DS a few months ago and foolishly upgraded to 11.0-33u (whatever the newest firmware is released in May) before
I realized that I should get Homebrew.

Now I did some online research and all the methods to get Homebrew launching is really difficult(Smashhax) or conflicting opinions.

Currently I never had Homebrew on my 3DS, do not have any sort of flash card, have a copy of Super Smash Bros 4 (physical copy) and money to potentially
buy Oricana of Time 3D (physical or digital) or maybe a flashcard.

Is there any good way to get home-brew on this 3DS or do I need to wait for a more reliable hack to get Homebrew on 3DS?

If you're just interested in homebrew, you're gonna need a copy of Smash Bros and a New 3ds or Freakforms Deluxe and any 3ds.

If you also want CFW, which lets you pirate games, you're gonna need the above AND a hardmod.

No he will only need a hard mod if he wants to downgrade.

The best ways to get homebrew are:

Primary exploit game:
*Freakyforms
*Cubic Ninja

Flashcard:
Sky3ds with a primary exploit game loaded.

Cubic Ninja isn't a primary exploit on 11.0

So if I get:
Physical Copy of Oricana of Time for 3DS and
Datel's Action Replay Powersaves Cheat Device for 3ds Game
I can get home-brew on my updated virgin 11.0-33u 3DS.

So is that all the bought software and possible hardware I need to play 3DS from like SD card?

I really wanna try Yugioh Zexal 3DS (JAP) rom cuz I got the US Version and it has 1/3 of the stuff
normally in the Jap version.

No, you need a hardmod for what you're asking.

If it's an o3dsxl or n3dsxl it's actually pretty easy, but you have to solder 4 wires. I've done it and was surprised.

If it isn't an xl, though, I wouldn't try. Those are a pain

If you don't want to do it yourself, though, there's prople on here that'll do it for you.

Yeah you can hardmod it to downgrade a certain file which allows you to downgrade. Here is a list of hardmodders: https://gbatemp.net/threads/list-of-hardmod-installers-by-region.414224/

If you don't have experience soldering yourself, let someone else do it because it's very likely you'll brick if you try to do it yourself.

Which wires did you use? I have most of the materials but IDK what wires I should use.

Idk Its the big one red one and I bought it 3 months ago in April. I did not know that there is a new and old 3DS XL. Bought it from Target if that helps.

If you flip it over what does the text on the back say? If it says Nintendo 3DS XL, it's an o3DS. If it says -new- Nintendo 3DS XL then it's a n3DS.

I recommend only doing a temporary hardmod so you don't have to worry about making holes and buying connectors.

I thought n3DS XL seemed way harder than o3DS XL, though, due to all the ribbon cables and such.
