Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Hi,

my NN3DS is on 11.0.0-33E, AL9H installed and I am using latest version of Luma3DS.
All works fine, but the clock reset sometimes(every second or third day), and then ingame time events are broken.
The reason for that, I do not found...
Someone knows a solution for that?

you might need to replace the battery.

Is there special small battery like in older Pokemon Games for example Pokemon Crystal?
Because when I do search Battery, then I always getting the accu and their solutions

I'd like to think of myself of quite experienced with 3ds modding but I'm having some real issues here.. FBI says my SD card got removed, I got some scrambled files in my CIA folder because my SD disconnected while copying a CIA file (the connector was the issue). I can't delete the files. The homebrew launcher just hangs on "Homebrew". My 3DS still recognises my SD card though because it boots with A9LH and it still boots. I have A9LH with updated luma3ds to 11.0, my SD card is a SanDisk Ultra 32GB which worked perfect up until yesterday. Any help here?

I did drop my 3DS and the battery fell out because I had my backplates off (god damnit Nintendo with the SD card location) but I turned it off before it fell. And I just noticed my time got reset?

Use a good SD card reader, and attempt to backup your stuff. Then boot into EmuNAND9 and perform a "Format SD (No emuNAND)" - Then copy the contents of your backup back to your SD Card.

Be sure to delete any of the corrupted folders//files manually. (I guess you could try this first, before doing what I just said.)

As for the time getting reset, I've had that happen as well when I pulled my battery to check something out. So I guess it's normal?

The issue is that the corrupted folders and files have an invalid name. I can't rename them or delete them. I was wondering if I could use GodMode9 to delete them so I chainloaded it but it just says "Failed deleting: scrambledname.scrambledextension" so that didn't work. I guess I have to try a format

So I looked around on gbatemp and Google, but couldn't find this particular problem. My friends list just hangs when i open it. Not sure how to fix. I've restored a recent nand backup, entered mii maker, and reboot. The friends list app just hangs forever on loading screen.

How long did you wait for "forever." People report waiting anywhere from 10-15+ mins, and then it works. Wait it out for at least up to 20mins. Then report back.

Make sure you're on the latest version of Luma. Because of the 11.0 the friendmodule needed updating.

Hmmm. I actually don't use Skype.

Anywho, I don't think I'd be able to help you with that issue though. Are you getting I/O errors? Might be the SD Card reader or the SD Card itself.

Hmmm. The only thing I can recommend is trying another SD card reader, failing that, you'd have to do a format without backing up, and seeing if that fixes things. Sorry~

Parts of the SD card got corrupted. I couldn't backup my Themes folder (Two themes got corrupted), My PKHex++ folder, Pk folder and even some parts of my Nintendo 3DS folder....

about 12-18 3ds games fit on a 32GB one, but I suggest you get a 64GB so that you don't have to buy a new one in case all the content you want to put on there doesn't fit.

Awww, that sucks. I hope you recover from that. I use the PC version of PKHex, so I keep all my .pk6 backup files on my hard drives.

A lot of sub folders from the Nintendo 3DS folder got corrupted and I have no idea how to fix it..

If so:
Question regarding dumping/backing up sysnand
So last couple of days Im trying to backup my sysnand (tried emunand9 and decrypt) (I downgraded from 9.8 => 9.2) and neither of them work
I want to setup emunand and run cfw but obviously i want a nand backup first, for safety measures
I usually get the i/o error sometimes SD is full (Its a 32g SD card 29g free)
I tried formatting the sd multiple times and now im out of solutions that's why i came here.

Did you make sure that your downgrade was complete? As in, are you sure it didn't error out? What tutorial did you follow to downgrade?

Did you try another SD Card? Like the stock SD Card that came with the 3DS?

First of all thanks for your quick response, I used
Plailect's github guide step 2
I havent tried stock SD card since it is full (What do I delete?)
The downgrade itself went smooth and was full(130 files?)
I used plaisysupdater
It checked the files, all good
Downgrade also all good no errors

I'm currently re-installing a lot of cia's that got corrupted and don't have a banner anymore after I made Windows "fix" it..

What happens to my installed CIA If I go to the eshop and buy and install a game? Do they get deleted?
I have some DLC and update CIA installed but not DLC from the eshop.
I'm about to configure my NNID in my arm9lh n3ds with the latest Luma and system update, and wanted to know if there's a problem going into eshop and buying stuff.

I also have decrypt and plaisys text files((crash)reports(Plaisys just has good's and done's)) If that helps?

Tried the Stock card. Gives the same i/o error, Thanks for the idea tho. wouldnt have came up with that
