what IOSU is out?

There's been details of an exploit for pre-5.2 systems released. No actual binaries or workable code but details on how it could be done. You can find the writeup here. Hopefully someone with a <5.2 console and some programming skill gets onto this soon.

You are forgetting that, while Nintendo fixed the vector limit checking for the bug, they also implemented a syscall that allows you to increase the maximum number of vectors, essentially allowing us to re-implement the bug.

And if that still doesn't work, remember that @smealum posted a video showcasing a boot-time IOSU exploit, allowing emuNAND and CFW. He has since abandoned the project, though.

Ok, just making sure here. Looks like there's no way to do anything on 5.1.2, so my best bet is to upgrade to 5.3.2 and stop there, correct?

I "backed up" some of my N64 games, and I'd like to use them with loadiine. They don't show up unless I include a title Id (ID6?) in the folder name. Does anyone know what I should use for these #s?

Thanks!

Look on GameTBD, they usually have the ID4 of virtual console games. You can just add "01" to the end of it to make it an ID6

You probably don't have the common key entered into the config file.
No I've inserted the Zelda TP HD common key 474**************************D12 (Ι dont know if I can publish it there) and saved the config file. After that I've executed the jar file and then I got a game list. I've pressed the "Open FST" and the java app exited.

You need the Wii U common key, not the TPHD common key :P

Whoops... Ok thank you.

EDIT: Now I get error: common key length is wrong
If you open config in Notepad++, you should have three lines with no spaces after them that are composed of the following:
Code:
http://ccs.cdn.wup.shop.nintendo.net/ccs/download
D7______________________________56
updatetitles.csv

Obviously you need to fill in the rest of the common key, but that is the format required. :)

Do I have to update a game on loadiine after the installation? What׳s the benefit? Is there a good tutorial for all the steps needed?
Thank you guys :)

Download with JNUSTool. Place in update folder on SD card. Literally all of your questions have been answered in the OP, so forgive me for not spoon feeding you. The benefit of updating anything is typically to fix bugs and/or bring new content, so while you aren't required to update, it's usually in your best interest. Note that if you're using cheats, the locations of values are almost guaranteed to change so you'd have to port them or wait for someone else to.

Thank you so much.
BTW, I installed SanDisk 128 gb flash drive for extra space for digital purchases- such as Super Smash Bros WiiU, (on usb 2.0) and it works like a charm- very fast :)

I am completely new to WII U Hacking. I have hacked the WII in the past and Xbox 360. My question/concern is this.
I am wanting to buy and mod a WII U so that my son can play WII U Backups. Loadline seems awesome, my only concern is the fact that he is only 6 and will not understand to go to the browser each time, clear his cookies, etc. Is there a simpler method that I have missed that he may be able to get to his game backups more easily?
I apologize in advance if this has been answered, I've read through pages and pages of questions and responses, as well as the OP.
