I tried making a custom wad for my wii, and when I installed it, the screen went completely black. I turned it off and back on to see if it was just a glitch, and the health warning poped up as usual. WHen I hit A the screen when black and nothing happened. I turned to Youtube and the things that I saw the most were just to open priiloader(it was installed on my wii). I held reset when i rebooted it and nothing happened. I really need help with this. Thanks!

Sounds like a Wii Banner Brick, or WAD installastion.
Try using SaveMiiDongle to get into Bootmii, and try to uninstall the WAD. You can see it in action here as an example of what it looks like;

Sounds like a brick. If you held the reset button while you were turning on your Wii and nothing happened then you most likely don't have PriiLoader installed. Do you know if you have BootMii installed in Boot2? Do you remember what guide you followed to softmod you Wii and can you link to it so I can see what you have done.

Also in the rare occasion you may not even need the Dongle Chip.
Try putting your Wii in maitence mode if possible, If you can get into maitence mode try going into Homebrew, Multi Mod Manager, put the WAD File on your SD Card then select "uninstall."

What WAD Manager did you use to install it?

1. Maintenance mode doesn't work if the console is bricked. It's part of the system menu.
2. The recovery mode that SaveMii is also not useful unless you have the dongle and your Wii is bricked under the situations it covers.
3. It's possible the GC controller recovery mode trick with a newer game disc including updates might work but I've never seen any evidence of it being successful, just anecdotal.

Now all I need is a "newer game" like smash bros. It stinks that it didn't work with xenoblade.

While I am fixing my wii I still want the the wad that bricked my wii. The thing is, the auto-injector crashes every time it says "reading rom". The rom I am using is dragon warrior(nes) and the wad is Final fantasy. Is there something I am missing?

I don't know anything about injecting roms into a wad. But the very next thing you should do once you get your Wii working again is to install both PriiLoader and BootMii. BootMii should be installed into Boot2 if your Wii is old enough and still supports doing that. Otherwise install it as an IOS. Then create a backup of your nand and keep it in a safe spot. This way, should something like this happen again it will be much easier for you to recover.

so it turns out that ssbb was made in 2008, and if my copy of skylanders giants(2012) didn't work, i am pretty sure that wouldn't.

Updating your console won't solve the problem since it is a banner brick and the banner will still be there.
What you can do is use an exploit game to load a WAD manager or AnyTitleDeleter then delete the title you installed. SSBB is the only one of the exploit games that doesn't need a save to be imported onto the Wii AFAIK so it should work for this purpose.

so I should get ssbb, and use it to access my wad manager? I don't know how I would do that seeing as i can't load anything. I bet there is some trick though.

Not really sure. I guess do the gamecube controller trick and then put in SSBB and see what happens. Like I said I've never used this method before.
