everytime i try to do this it just loads the original game (mario and luigi). i have the python packages installed. but it says that some files and paths are missing. can i get some help?

So I'm trying to do this on a Pokemon ROM hack (Pokemon Vega).
Game works, can use Restore Points, but can't properly save (says Please Exchange The Backup Memory)

I'm aware this is an issue that on certain emulators can be fixed by changing options, but obviously this isn't an option here. Can anyone help?

Hey, i used gbata to repair the sram from Pokémon Emerald Version, but after beating the game, the save file was deleted due to corruption, i lost all my progress. How do i fix this?

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
