Rules:
-You CANNOT vote for yourself!
-voting is open to everyone!
-Votes will be given in a hierarchal manner. IE, person one receives 5 points, person two 4 points, so on and so forth. You must vote for 5 people, and follow this format:

i don't see why you singled out newkidontheblock's entry with dirtie's voting and not ash :? imo if mthrnite's qualifies ash's qualifies and i like the honorable entries anyways. :X

Respectfully, I don't see any difference between mine and AshuraZero's.
I'm a little confused about that...

His is uh...Mario. Yes, yours is invader Zim, but it's a parody. Ashura's is more like Mario with some design elements from phoenix wright games.
If he can offer a good argument against me to include it, I will. But until then my decision stands.

And mthrnite's is like invader zim with some design elements from invader zim. Oh and different style text still saying "Pheonix Wright". Not that I'm saying yours is bad mthrnite, I liked it. But I guess that's where I goofed, changing the title is a no no. And leaving out a subtitle. I did change the little twinkle to a star I guess, to be a bit different, and I left out the all important pointing. So I strayed from the formula a bit. In the end, it comes down me to entering something that, regardless of quality, has not broken the 3 rules set by you any more than the other entries. And yet, it's not considered an entry. So this is your personal opinion, rather than a vote which is the idea of these competitions, that it is not a parody of Phoenix Wright. Next time I'll make something you like rather than something I do so I can get in.

Yes, it is my personal opinion, as these are my competitions. Your entry says "Super Mario Brothers" with nothing to indicate its no different than the other 100 Mario titles. Mthrnite's is exactly what it says: A Phoenix Wright game, but set in the Invader Zim world. He used Phoenix Wright more as a label for a genre than he did as a title of a specific game.

Yes, polish wise, yours is one of the best. I have nothing against you, or your entry, other than the fact it does not meet the requirements I very clearly stated. In future contests I will try and be more specific. It was a pretty simple guideline, but for some reason half the entrants had a difficult time following it. Oh well, next time I guess.

Perhaps it is time to change a bit the modus operandi of these contests.
After all, is it really necessary to have someone splitting entries between the one fulfilling his requests and the others ? Democracy is, imho, a better choice here. The votes for Ash entries, is clearly a sign of its legitimacy in this contest. Why not let the others decide for themselves.
In terms of democracy, I've also an issue with the voting. Do you realize that if you vote, you strictly decrease the rank of your own entry ? So it is always better to pass on voting. In future issue, it will be better to force everyone who has entered the contest to vote.
Another idea, is to make blind voting. That is we send you our entries, and you make a topic with entry 1, entry 2, ect... At the end, you reveal the name of the author of each entry. It will make far more interesting sessions.

Edit: After all, here is my vote with Ash in it because I respect you rules Kyoji
