No, i'm telling you that a newer version of the project already exists, by another guy with no affiliation whatsoever to the original team. Take a careful look at the names and you'll get the difference. Test it with your commonly played titles, maybe you could get a nice surprise in some of them.Man that sucks. So you're saying that the team on wiisx are going to release a better version?

What I understand, from this@nakata6790 post:Hi guys, nice to see these cores added to the Wii port
I currently have 1.0.0.2 on my Wii and was wondering what are the benefits of the MAME cores for this version of RA? I think there is a MAME 2000 and MAME 2003 core? I guess the 2000 core uses a 0.37b romset and the 2003 core uses 0.78?
What games run on either of these cores that do not run on FBA for 1.0.0.2? Sorry for all the questions, hopefully somebody can help
Anyway, a recap of this thread for anyone interested in MAME RA Wii cores & what games they play:
in terms of compatibility, considering the game lists, there are only a few games in 2003 that doesn't appear in MAME2000... But In terms of playing I've not tried it...@templar701 's MAME 0.7.8. build for RA 1.2.2 from post #19 in the first page works with the MAME 0.78 roms listed in post #104 in this page.
@Wiimpathy 's MAME 2000 (iMame4All) build for RA 1.2.2 (post # 30) and @zerofalcon 's port for RA 1.0.2 (post #52) work with the MAME2000/MAME 37b roms listed in post #73
