I'm thinking buy too. That is if it's as good as minish cap or better i will.

I hope next zelda they ditch the cell shaded type graphics for OOT/TP style. it's not that i don't enjoy these graphics, but i like to have some variation and play a handlheld with those graphics.

at first I thought...this game looks kinda ghey for a zelda game...I also thought those screens were for the wii.

now that I realize it's for the DS, that actually finally kinda makes me want to buy a DS

I hate to say it but those graphics don't look good to me at all (and I liked them in NGC). The gameplay looks cool though with you being able to draw a track for your boomerang or for that faery.

It'll look a lot better on an actual DS.

I dreamt that the Japanese version was dumped and for some reason it had Norwegian voice acting.

I'm conifdent that it'll play really well, looks like this is one I'll import (unless its out over here sooner than December), will play quite a bit of the Japanese version.

The dungeons could really use some more polygones... (Or better textures...) Apart from that I know this will be awesome since I tried it at GC06 already. The only thing I hope they changed is walking with the stylus, that was a little tiresome.

I'm kinda worried about PH, not about the gameplay, I think it looks awesome.
but the graphics, they look pretty good as a whole.. but I know its an edited version of the animal crossing wild world engine.. so a lot of resources are being wasted, poly counts being wasted on nothing since its being constructed as a 2d game.. plus link's model is all out of proportion, and he looks like he has down syndrome

You make good points there. He does have that strange look about him, taking it one step furthur from windwaker, minishcap.

I think it looks a little strange because they are screenshots and if you'll play it and see it in motion that it'll look a lot better. I just hope they made the controls perfect.

I can't believe you got me with that

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    How are you doing?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    That sounds really cool
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
I know the basics but no strategy at all

Watch chess streamers on Twitch and you'll pick up a thing or two.
