Gaming Transferring Save Files from Cartridge to Cartridge?

Quick question.

Is it possible to move a save file from a FE Conquest cartridge to the FE Special (the one with all three paths) cartridge?

I'm assuming no...but if anyone has input that would be lovely. TY

Yes actually, I've done it myself from Birthright to Special using the saves slots that stay on the SD card.

On your Conquest save, start a challenge mission and Save the game in one of the Extra slots, the slots on the far left of the save slot selection screen while battling or arranging your team. Quit the game then launch the Special edition and load the save from the Load menu. Complete the mission and you'll be able to save the full data onto the Special edition.

Thanks for the answer! By 'challenge' mission, do you mean 'invasion' or 'paralouge' mission? I'm unsure what you mean about the save slots that stay on the SD card however. As far as I know cartridge saves are on the cartridge itself. Although my Special edition has not come in yet so I may be missing the idea.

Really the mission doesn't matter, what matters is you completing it and saving the battle save into a cartridge save. You just need to create a battle/bookmark save of your game that you can load between games, which can be done by saving into the "Extra data" save slots as the special edition recognizes them just fine.
