Think im just gonna play it safe and pay a little more. even if the forawarders end up not working it will still work on my 3ds. cheers for the help though.Hmm, the DSTT forwarders uses the DSTT DLDI. You know what, I think it'll work.
what happens when you start forwarder cia (game from home menu)?
Did the forwarder CIA work before, or did you just start the flashcard?
I think it'll work.Would anyone mind helping me identify if my shitty knockoff flashcart will run this?
I think it's a DSTT clone, but I can't find any info on this particular model.
Here's the page: http://www.r4isdhc.in/download_white_new2013/index.html

Strange, because the forwarders don't brick flashcards.I gave it a shot, and the forwarder just got stuck on a white screen after launching. After that, my 3DS wouldn't recognize the flashcart anymore. I think it got bricked, because my DS lite won't recognize it either. Ugh.
Guess that's what I get for getting dirt cheap flashcarts.
I'm not blaming it on your forwarders, merely stating what happened.Strange, because the forwarders don't brick flashcards.
Is your .DAT file in the flashcard's microSD card?I'm getting a white screen with "? Menu" sd card icon at the middle. I'm not sure which part I did wrong?
Edit: I'm using an r4isdhc.com cart with YSMenu as the default
Is your .DAT file in the flashcard's microSD card?
The .DAT file should be in the root of the microSD.Yeah it's inside the Games/ folder, same path as the ROM i generated it from. What's the flashcard SD supposed to look like? I copied over the TTMenu/ and YSMenu.nds from the "DS Game Forwarder Pack" to the root of my SD card, and removed my original TTMenu folder.
You don't need the generated .NDS file. For loading the .DAT files in a subfolder, in Forwarder3-DS, type in a letter and then the / character in the .DAT name, and create the folder with the letter as it's name.Ah i see. What about the generated NDS? Also - how do we customize it such that the .DAT are in a subfolder?
Using Forwarder3-DS, change the game path to where your ROM is in the flashcard.Alright, cool. However it's loading the YSMenu file list, the YSMenu.ini says Autoboot /Games/127PHO.nds even though there's no file like that in my SD? I have 0127 Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney (US)(M2).nds though, which is the one I'm trying to load.
Just copy it to the flashcard's microSD. It'll be generated by Forwarder3-DS.How do I extract the .dat file on r4i-sdhc rts?
