I have a lot of missing art/infos once the extension installed.
So I'm ok for update the database, but... Where to do it?
I don't see any button, such as "Submit a new game info"
You shouldn't need to do anything to get it to match. If it's in the database, the image of the ROM/CIA should show up. It doesn't depend on the name of the file, as it reads the gameID/PID. If it isn't working, try getting the latest image database and see if the image for that game is there. Also, try reinstalling the extension, running as administrator if you haven't.How do you get a rom to match and refresh? I have my pokemon sapphire rip named just saphire, so I need to name it the games ID? What else can I name it to match up? Then I have to restart my machine?
It's not that it's dead, but that it doesn't really need to be active. The images are updated at the database and while updates would be nice, they're not really necessary as the extension works almost perfectly. The thread is basically for people with questions on how to get it working or about missing images and for those who like to post what they updated on the database. (maybe posting a bug if they find it)I was starting to think this thread was dead....
Right, forgot about that issue, my bad. Can't you edit as a guest though? Can't really update anything on the database 'cause you can't create an account.
I don't think you can. Some CIAs show them, but it's not the normal behavior!is it possible to show instead game icons? I would like most than cartridge and box art
Wiki account creation should be working now.
Looks like they changed something on Google's side and wiki software had to be updated before capchas could be used again.
Sorry for this.
How come I missed this for so long....
Awesome work, looking great. Definitely gonna recommend this
Where do I download the database? On this link this link is no file for me?
Thanks, I even thought I'm too stupid to download a database xD So.... How about bot debugging and running an update?Weird, there's no file there. It hasn't updated in the past few days, either.
Well, updating the wiki provides the images for all users and not just you, so that's nice. Also, the bot updates the databse every 15 minutes so it's not that long of a wait! I would only use the user/personal database to change something not everyone would want, like a custom boxshot or something along those lines. What is better?
Make changes to wiki pages and wait the bot to produce new database file..
or
Create info files and boxshot images, to update an "offline/personal" database?

Info files are updated too. The latest.7z file comes with a boxshot and an info folder. If you update images, boxahot will be updated, if you update info, the text for that specific game will be updated in the info folder. That text file has to exist and be updated since it is the one that directs the correct boxshot to the game.Nice..
But, what about info files?
I'm working on the wiki page and updating some missing games. The bot is updating the database every 15 minutes, but not for info files.
Am I wrong about this? I want to help.
