If: Nintendo is only checking NNID and one of your NNID accounts gets temp banned and you make another account would they know that thy banned one of your accounts before and therefore permanently banning your account or would they just temporarily ban the account?
Nikki has pretty much said that Octohax should be fine enough to use Online, but editing hacks AND colorhax {though clientside} can be detected. {Colorhax can be detected by syncing, I'm guessing that it's the same for the others. Octohax would just show as an inkling girl for everyone, and Nintendo.}
Of 71 responses, I have 59 who are clean, 7 temp bans, 4 permabans, and one other.

It's probably safe to assume that people who were permabanned fucked up and went online with the hax loaded or did something else horribly wrong. The temp bans may be due to somthing like colorhax as has been discussed.
People are stupid. I work customer support and it amazes me how incompetent some people can be with following directions. Good example would be this comment I found on Slimy's video so I wouldn't doubt if this is the cause of most permabans

So it's true ish, then? it does seem that most banned users used the edit hacks for coins or gear etc... What I think I heard NWPlayer say is that colorizer seems to sync when you are hosting a private battle...
Should that be taken in account? People banned by colorizer played even once on private? or just online?

You should be careful- At this point it doesn't look like the problem is TCPGecko itself, and Nintendo just found something up with some game accounts during the maintenance. Be careful, but if you really want to use colorhax or octohax, you may, it is nOT our fault if something happens but we are deeply sorry, this is why i suggest not.
But, if I dont get banned now, if Nintendo do a maintenance, i could get banned? >.<
I tried looking for a help-desk part time job over at nintendo. I have called a few times to get my nnids unlinked from wii u/n3ds and i was thinking of a way to get deeper into their tools and stuff. But no Nintendo Offices in Costa Rica :-(

This OP is really good. I'm curious if anyone has some links to music hacks? I REALLY want to mute the games in-level music, and one way I can think of is just replacing the music with a short silent audio file.
This is what seemed to be a large cause of the bans! We will maybe remove this.
I would say a temp ban, but Nintendo doesn't really do these things a lot. Don't worry, because it might've just been a small thing, and there's around a 30% chance of a temp ban and a 69% chance of none with like a 1% chance of perma ban.

This is what we WANT to discover, so if you stick around there's a chance that we'll figure out how to do this thing. Along with this, we want to add or even just obtain sound files, data and edit text! {But with what's happened, it has been hard.}
Oh no, don't worry about that, the same day I found out about the risk I stopped using everything completely... at this point Im even barely using loadiine, so last time I got TCP was on the 9th and im not risking myself until we find out what is the problem...
But, if the problem is that they are able to detect Gecko, there wil be no easy workaround right?
