the way the save game editor works, is it reads specific offsets and finds the values in certain ranges.... wel since you have changed the format of the save, those ranges have changed.... understand?

512kb save (R4) is the standard at the moment.
but since your using a 256kb save, try the pokesav_038b_english_by_Geisn version of the application, it has a save size changer, that might work.

SO just basically the No$gba saves from the battery folder even tho converted with G6 Save Converter will not work on pokesav properly?

quite possible. it probably just has a different header, i think most backup cards have a padded header and some cart stuff stored in there, i could be mistaken tho.

ANYWAYS: lets keep this thread on track

i still can't find out how to make the pokemon a shiny yet, is it the "faitfull encounter" tickbox? if i don't get the answer i'm gonna try anyway later.

When your in the edit pokémon screen, its in the attribute edit screen

yeah i know where the pokemon edit stats are i just want to know what button to use for "shiny" either you do know, or you don't! just say what button it is, trying to tell me top left and yadda yadda i won't understand that as there is a ton of buttons on this program!

and btw codejunkies have removed half of the codes from pokemon diamond codelist and i have them all hahaha! there was 224 codes before and now it's down to 143 or something like that lol

Does anyone know if Advance Wars DS, Dawn of sorrow, Mario64, or ANIMAL CROSSING use the same save format as Diamond? I am going to try patching the Diamond rom to save to the DS card (like Advance Wars) and then using REIN to extract the save from it, to see if it will work.
