You can try using FBI to delete the ticket to see if reinstalling it works.

Edit: I tried with "pokemon rumble" and it crashes with that too. I had to look for "Pokemon" instead.

You really should atleast read the last page of a thread before responding to see if any posts are applicable to your situation: "next release should fix a few issues, namely crashing when only a single result is returned on search"

You really should atleast read the last page of a thread before responding to see if any posts are applicable to your situation: "next release should fix a few issues, namely crashing when only a single result is returned on search"

I use the latest FBI 2.1.1 :/

Hello! Can I use this to download and make "good" DLC? As in pirated DLC that can coexist with legit ones that won't get deleted every time I go into the eShop?

Wait does the newest version now download the latest version of the wings.json automatically if it's not found?
If so would an update option be possible now? Or if it's as easy as just deleting the wings.json I have I'll just use ctrxplorer to delete it every time I want to update

The whole DLC being deleted when going to the eShop thing is beyond our control (At this point). Nobody really knows what triggers it, or how to stop it from happening.

Check out the menu options in the newest version.

Search function is way better than before! It's actually useful now

Just being curious: is a GUI planned or not?
And another thing/suggestion: Would it be possible to turn off the 3ds screen in CIAngel after like 2mins of inactivity? Just to save some power, because downloads are rather slow and power consuming.

I believe someone is working on a more graphical interface at the moment, but it's not me or cearp. I'm not sure about turning off the screen, I can take a look at what we have access to in that regard next time I'm working on it though.

Thanks Drakia, I was just coming to post about the hang on close from "Suspended" state which you say was just fixed. Two other comments.

I was confused for a bit that when I started the program for the first time it alerted me that it couldnt find a json.wings file. Trying to download it didnt work though so I was stuck.

I needed to create the CIAngel folder on my SD card and then it worked find. But took some time to figure out what was wrong.

The program should create the directory if its not there.

I had the program in the default mode of downloading the CIA's instead of installing. I tried going into FBI and installing the CIA and it failed. (I dont know if its normal or was a fluke)

I then couldn't figure out how to get the program itself to process the downloaded CIA at that point. I had to search for it again, with the install mode selected. It correctly didn't redownload it, since it existed already and started installing. But it seemed a lot of extras steps just to get the CIA installed. Would be nice to have an option in the program to install all the CIA's it already has.

I have latest version of CIAngel.
Where i can download wings.json?
When i start CIAngel (installed from cia, or fro, homebrew launcher) i see linу about wings.json: "No wings.json. Press A to download, or any key to return"
When im pressing A (Or press download wings.json from menu) its blink for 1 second and then return to menu.
When i try to search something - CIAngel crashes to Home menu.
After next start see again no wings.json...

There has been some research and one of the biggest culprits is pre existing DLC purchases. If you already have DLC for a game that will always overwrite the Pirated DLC.

Also if you have visited that games DLC page before it could potentially leave a ticket as well saying that you DONT own anything which could potentially cause the problem as well.

These are not completely proven but they are the very very likely culprits.

Just tried the newer version, it's great (the search really works!), but two things it still needs - the ability to scroll to the right when looking at a list of games, to see the whole title, and the ability to cancel a download. I tried to download Triforce Heroes, only the one I selected was the demo (couldn't see the word Demo in the list view), and then there was no way to stop it downloading other than force powering off my console.
