Has this issue been answered? I've searched the thread and not found a solution yet. Like Cornholio309, I've played around with the rotation options and have found no way to rotate the screen so that I can hold the 3DS normally.
Screen rotation not working in RA is a known issue. There is a post amongs those 182 thread pages that mentions it.

How difficult is this to setup Neo Geo with? Always had trouble with RetroArch in the past but want to try it again here as there's no other alternative.

Not that hard surprisingly. Just make a folder for the games, then dump the neo geo zip (The bios) into it, then stack the games in and install RA and the NeoGeo cia/3dsx. That's it.

Just keep in mind some games do not work really well on it, and some will crash, but for the most part it'll run at a smooth fps and plays pretty well.

Anyone managed to get Rondo of Blood to run perfectly on Mednaden PCE Fast? It's got a line of colored pixels at the bottom of the screen, and it fluctuates between 52 and 60 fps which is just enough to be distracting.

EDIT: I'm on the latest stable by the way.
N3DS or O3DS?

N3DS. Should've specified it, sorry.

The coloured line can be fixed in the core settings - should be a setting like first/last scanline - change that value by one. (sorry, can't remember if you should change up or down, don't have my 3DS with me to check). For me, though, it only drops below 59/60 fps on loading screens - if you're using a filter, that could be dropping your fps.

I'm not. That's weird... I'll wait for the next stable update and re-try it.

Is there a setting or file that I'm missing so that I can have 6-button controller support for PicoDrive? I'm finally getting to play all of the SegaCD games that I missed as a kid, but it only registers as if a 3-button controller is plugged in. Without it, a lot of fighting games become rather unplayable.

Edit: Nevermind. Found it.

I have Retroarch installed on my N3DS and I am using Nestopia. I load a game and play it, then I close it. However, no games ever show up in "Load Recent" which means I have to continually browse through my SD card and all of the folders to find the game again. Under "Settings -> Playlists" the "History List Enable" is set to On. I am using the most recent stable CIA builds.

Not sure about the "Load Recent" option, but you can go into the settings and change the default directory it opens up to when selecting a ROM.

well i can play without audio thats not the problem ;)

what settings to increase the screen size then? :D

Another question:

Does it matter which of the ps1 bios files i use?
Since i play european games i used a PAL Bios but should i use only the new ones like psone 102b or should i use older ones like 7502,9002 or does it matter at all?

Installed MAME 2000 and 2003, and started Pac-Man on both, 2000 crashes and 2003 has a rotated stretched screen. How do I go about fixing this? Thanks!

(edit: at least Simpsons is playable... as Marge! WHO WANTS TO PLAY AS MARGE!? And Super Street Fighter 2 isn't playable at all!)

For CPS2, best to use the FBA Cores since MAME does not work with a good amount.
