And his twitter is open, the games continue - https://twitter.com/hykemthedemon

It's like being in high school all over again.
After 30 days of deleting an account on Twitter, the username is free for anyone to use.
So that Hykem probably isn't real (at least, that's what a lot of people are claiming).

Well, if it was actually deleted. There was one person on Twitter I was following that gave the same response, as if it was deleted for about half a day, then all of a sudden came back. You can hide your account somehow and re-activate it apparently too, but I am getting a little too old to care about silly games played by kids.

When you delete an account signing in again using the same credentials will give you the ability to undo the deletion because the information isn't purged for 30 days. However since this looks rather empty pretty sure this is a fresh account and not a re-activation unless he actually deleted all his old tweets as well. I'm strongly suspect that it isn't Hykem.

Apr 15 21:24:20 <NWPlayer123> hykem if you wanna be really nice can you send me the SSL decryption key (0x48) http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/Hardware/OTP
Apr 17 14:33:02 <hykem> NWPlayer123: How dare you ask for something like that? Don't you know I'm a big fat liar? The IOSU exploit never existed! There are no keys! That red screen was photoshopped and I didn't dump those keys, they were given to me by a secret WiiU hacking group that bought them from fail0verflow. It was all a big scam just so I could get some e-fame and praise, because my self-esteem is lower that
Apr 17 14:33:02 <hykem> the WiiU's sales... Sheesh, LEAVE ME ALONE ALREADY! *starts crying in a dark corner, just like the loser everyone knows he is*

@NWPlayer1234 question of the day XD (might be stupid)
The Internet browser has access to wifi and wii lan ethernet adapter. We own a userspace exploit that theoretically access what ever browser can access. Then we got kernel expoit which we enter through the browser and the userspace exploit and the apps we are running on it can't have Internet access... XD Why iosu access is still required for that?

oh, psh, I'm not sure how they handle the LAN adapter, but cause you have to have it set up in settings, it pipes thru IOSU somehow, you can't access USB storage specifically, they have seperate interfaces for all the other kinds.
Human Interface Devices (eg the Gamecube adapter and a keyboard and mouse if you were that crazy about True Internet Experience™)
Communications Device Class that DRH uses to communicate with the Gamepad
UAC (USB Audio Class if you plugged in a microphone and wanted to use it, I actually remember doing that when MN1 and I were testing stuff lmao)
USB-MIDI which I'm not sure of a use case
USB storage is UHS which is what IOS-MCP keeps locked down

wifi access it already does for you, that's what we use sockets and curl for, sockets let you connect eg your computer and the wii u to send data between the two for RPC, curl is just a commonly used library to download files from a URL. That's why you need your IP, cause socket needs to know where to connect to

It's nice to see that he is finally being honest about it all.
He must sleep better at night knowing he has finally told the truth. :)

It was just banter and sarcasm mate, don't get excited ;)
I can see the sarcasm and banter - the part about photo shopping the red screen and reading the keys is obvious sarcasm.
Everyone knows that somehow he figured out how to read the OTP.

The rest of it is true, he was unable to create a working IOSU or Kernel exploit - it was (is) much more difficult than he thought it would be.
He was banking on someone that knows how to do it to release theirs based on his threat to release by Christmas of 2015, but got called out and went into hiding.

Edit: This discussion doesn't belong here. Talk about this person belongs on edge of forums.
