This is one issue I've been fighting against since I first thought of this software: the boot is already """relatively""" slow (it's only 8 seconds ffs) and you have to add up the length of the animation. It is not possible to load the (custom) firmware while the animation is playing, so animations have to be kept short. That's why the initial 50MB limit was there, just an arbitrary limit so people don't come and complain 'duh your program sux, it makes everything slower'I made a faster version of the psx boot screen if anyone want it.
Screw sound lol adding screen init to it so people can use it with any fork would be nice thoughThis is one issue I've been fighting against since I first thought of this software: the boot is already """relatively""" slow (it's only 8 seconds ffs) and you have to add up the length of the animation. I'm kinda surprised about the positive reception of BootAnim9, given how most A9LH users are unfortunately complete n00bs who are prone to outburst when things don't go as they planned.
As such, thanks to everyone for supporting me through these 3 weeks! And sorry for not bringing wanted features like sound, it's just something that hasn't been done yet.
Already made a post on it, nobody showed up on #BootAnim9 @ freenodeScrew sound lol adding screen init to it so people can use it with any fork would be nice though

True. Try to ask her.Assholes, Lol. Maybe aurora can help u
All I need are no-screen-init testers to be honest.Assholes, Lol. Maybe aurora can help u
Maybe I can test it, if you tell me what I've to do.All I need are no-screen-init testers to be honest.
I already have screen init code, but can't test it reliably.
I can test it. I'll switch forksAll I need are no-screen-init testers to be honest.

Actually, I have a different idea for a screen-init patch: a standalone patcher. You do copy /b patcher.bin + whatevera9lhpayload.bin patched_for_screeninit.bin and boom! You have a patched payload. It's still in early dev stages, and all code I had to test was just to perform a screen init, clear both screens to white and shutdown the 3DS after a while. However, that piece of code is the only one I can't test reliably.I can test it. I'll switch forks
Yep. It's still in early planning and I've yet to figure out a single issue, but it's certainly doable.so it would add screen init to non screen init payloads?
