So i did get it to work through other sites, however getting dumpiine to work is another story, I do want to backup the games i actually own. How do i go about doing that? Is there a way to do it on my PC? thanks.

So, I've been searching around for a bit and haven't come across an answer for this. I successfully dumped a game with Dumpiine and have a .rpx and a .rpl file. How would I go about getting those files into a format that could be used with Loadiine? Thanks.

Put the RPX, RPL(s) in a folder named Code. Use the XML extractor tool to get app.xml and cos.xml and put them in there as well, or copy and edit some from another game. Then use TCP Gecko to extract the Content files, and place them in a folder named Content. Put Code and Content into a folder with the game name and [ID6], and launch with Loadiine GX2.

Dimok was working on something to make this process much easier though. Check the Loadiine GX2 thread.

It may still be easier just to go find a WUD or Loadiine-ready download online, tbh...
If you own it, it's not illegal to download it.

yeah, i was thinking of doing that as well, but not so much luck finding good files or common keys, I do have a decent wii u collection cause ive had the system sense day 1, I am just really interested on how it works, and it would be nice to have some backup copys on my hard drive. I am sure there is a good site with the stuff, just not much luck finding it lol.

Well the instructions are quoted in my last post, and the tools to do it are in the OP of this thread (or DefinitivePackage). If Dimok has made progress for doing it more simply, you'd have to get that from the Loadiine GX2 thread.

What a bad newss
There might be a firmware update soon. If the update patches the 5.5.1 kernel exploit, it will be released. This allows for RAM editing, file replacement, backup loaders and so on. Don't update. See more information on how to block updates right here on this thread (note: you can also use the developer proxy to block updates too). :D

A spliff falls on the screen and Theres a Pont that its always press.
I can make it work Just presing the oposite side from the screen.
The Point is should I repair it o should I wait for NX?
Thanks in advanced

Hi guys,

I don't know if everyone asks about it, I bet it's asked quite often, and the answer is certainly scattered and buried in very long threads...

could you indicate in the OP what's the current progress of IOSU / emuNAND attempts? is someone still working on it? Did someone have some reassuring news from Hykem since he disappeared? And things like that.

I'm not impatient, but I'd like to know what happens. Thanks :)

Info is still up and being worked on over at wiiubrew.org. Hykem logged most of it, then disappeared from the face of the earth.

Some people are still developing IOSU further (i.e. the group Hykem and a few other big hacker names comprised), some have developed it beforehand and helped Hykem with it (plutoo, smea etc.) and then there's the occasional slip of information about what the devs found out, which usually comes in literally bits and pieces every once in a while.

There's also the smaller dev groups people make (i.e. @mostdefnotryan's group), and the helpers who advise and support other people in making their own exploits (i.e. @Onion_Knight ;3).

In short, yes, there's still a glimmer of hope for your emuNAND/CFW :P

Hey all you fine people! I hope one of you can help me with my issue, it's literally driving me insane. I've got a Mario Maker Wii U (5.4 U) so it should be exploitable from what I've read. However, nothing seems to work!

Here's what I've done so far:
  • I've read the definitive guide, also the 5.4 threads (both) and none seem to help me.
  • I've self-hosted files, using mongoose and the files in the definitive guide zip/rar. However when I go to AIO it's just a blank white page. Pressing A on the Gamepad does nothing.
  • For self-hosted files, I've tried the same as above but using the files from here: http://05sonicblue.com/wiiuhax but again, just a white screen that does nothing.
  • I've gone to wiiubru, it tells me it's detecting my firmware then launches what looks like a video player, but halfway through the animation of it opening it freezes and nothing happens. All it shows is a blackscreen on the gamepad with a play button and everything is frozen about a half second into its first appearance. Thinking this was the Kernel Exploit I repeated it many, many times (counting 50+ times now) each time clearing cookies and not using a quickstart for the internet, still nothing.
  • I've looked at the payload files but all I see are up to payload532 no payload 540, if there even is one for the Kexploit?

So, as you can see nothing I've done seems to work and it's making my tear my hair out. Am I doing something wrong or am I just the unluckiest person in the world? Any help at all, and I mean ANY would be so graciously appreciated!

EDIT: I've downloaded the files in the Definitive main page, but seeing as they don't work am I missing something? It says I only need 5.4.0 and it'll work but nothing does. Is there some file I'm missing that I should be using? This is really infuriating and made worse by the lack of clarity and/or the lack of any sort of support since so few people appear to have the issue and those that DO fix it, rarely report back on how they resolved it beyond "I hosted it myself" but don't list where the files come from, what they altered or anything of the sort.

Please post results here too for others and so I can edit the OP if need be. (I have no experience with 5.4.0 and can only really go off of what others tell me)
It's nothing special just the same steps for 5.4 as 5.3.2, there's just some different versions of apps that I found work better than others. For example, WUP Installer. Had to hunt down this version which is the only one that I could get to work: https://gbatemp.net/threads/wup-ins...fing-5-3-2-5-4-0.397053/page-123#post-6080452

1. I use XAMPP to host the exploits on my local PC.
2. I launch HBL from local web page.
3. I launch Loadiine GX2 from HBL.

There's nothing that I can contribute that you haven't already put in the OP.

Hello all!
I have just bought a Wii U (it's on 5.3.2) and I'm in the process of configuring it to homebrew.
Is it really safe to have TubeHAX DNS + URL Filtering or shoult I go nuts and block the entire MAC address, loosing any internet possibility?

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.

Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
