Those are special, HID doesn't provide them. 3DBrew says how to get them from within a FIRM environment, but not where it gets them from (from what I could see).
I think bootctr non-A9LH (or whatever it is called) was able to use them. Not sure how though.

ctrulib has them defined, so I included in BootCtr, however I don't even know if they work or not because I don't have a New 3DS to test.
However, if they work it all thanks to ctrulib.

I used to use them on N3DS. I am trying now to add them to arm9select.
Edit: Adding to arm9select works. Two more buttons we can configure.
Edit2: Seems only one of the buttons registered. Was able to load decrypt9wip as zl.bin. Unfortunately I named uncart.bin as zr.bin and it still loaded decrypt9wip. Any ideas why?

iisnt it still L+R to boot the default bin ?
i have D9UI verison, and it just goes black screen with L+R, but i remember D9 text edition worked fine.
( i do have the D9UI folder in the root also, and the bin file off it inside aurei named to default )

I just edited arm9select with the buttons zl,zr and touch.
The program was only able to register 1 of them and I am not sure why.
My example:
zl.bin (decrypt9WIP)
zr.bin (uncart)
touch.bin (AuReiNand)
no matter which button I held decrypt9WIP loaded.

Thanks Aurora Wright for the AuReiNAND! On O3DS XL I finally managed to set up A9LHAX with AuReiNAND working on both 9.2 sysNAND and 10.7 emuNAND. The boot speed difference compared to the N3DS XL with themehax/menuhax is just day and night lol
No lag whatsoever on sysNAND but I'm noticing delays when emuNAND starts up (nothing installed yet, except FBI and HBL) and occasional lags on 10.7 emuNAND on O3DS XL. I followed Plailect guide. SD card read rate is 31 ~ 32 MB/s , write rate is 10 ~ 11 MB/s
Also I'm going to set up 2nd emuNAND, if someone can tell how to add a second emuNAND to console SD card please. Using A9LHAX + AuReiNAND 4.0.1

I have a problem. I have a New 3DS XL 9.2 Sysnand with 10.7 Emunand. With AuReiNand 3.11 everything was ok.
Now I updated to AuReiNand 4.1 (unzipped & overwritten the 3.11 files on the SDCard) and AuReiNand boots up but only shows me
the Sysnand Content. I tried every option in the AuReiNand Config menu but it still stays the same...
Do I have to go back to 3.11 ?
What is the problem ?

Have you tried deleting the patched_firmware.bin files and disabling updatedsysnand mode?
But they worked together
