yeah it's safe. if you want to, you can remove them with fbi on sysnand. BE EXTREMELY CAREFULL NOT TO DELETE THE WRONGT TITLES FROM NAND

https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-3-(EmuNAND)
Step 9

When I press "complete emunand setup" and then the A Button the homebrew does not proceed with the setup.
Do you know why is that? Emunand9 is not freezed, because I can abort with B or move the % with the arrows.

Ok guys now I'm on Part 4 of Plailect Guide, I read somewhere some days ago that New 3DS users need to do extra steps in order to get 2.1.0 properly working on the device, and on this video he uses the feature "unbrick fw 2.1 emunand", not mentioned on Plailect's guide.

Is there something extra that I need to do on n3ds?
Is there also a way to check if I did everything correctly until now?

Thank you.

you need to use the unbrick feature if you have a n3ds. IF NOT YOUR 3DS WILL BRICK

That's not a problem, but I do not understand why that is not mentioned on the guide.

Ah, also Cakes Emunand seems to not boot properly after the nintendo latest update, sysNand is fine, but Emunand booted from the hbl got stuck.

EDIT: If I load the CFW launcher (pressing L while booting the cakes homebrew) and then push on "RUN CFW" it boots properly, why is that?

The "unbrick fw 2.1 emunand" was merged into "one click setup" to reduce user error I assume.

Probably yes, I just saw that.

Do you know what can be the problem with the Cakes Emunand, is it normal that I can't boot properly without pressing "L" and click on "Run CFW"?

You need to be more specific. I assume you have not completed the 5th part of the tutorial completetly since you opted to keep EmuNAND which is fine. What were your exact steps after getting the OTP/installing A9LH?

I'm on the fourth part, I completed the third part of the guide. Actually I have a sysnand 9.2.0 and a Cakes emunand 10.7. So next step will be the downgrade of the emunand and do the rest.

But first I need to understand why I can boot Cakes emunand only keeping pressed "L" button while clicking on the homebrew and then clicking on "RUN CFW" and not simply clicking on the homebrew itself (because it gives me a black screen) (it seems that happened AFTER the update to emunand 10.7).

Once sure that everything is OK I will continue with part 4.

Thank you.

I think I solved, Cakes homebrew has an option toggleable called "Enable autoboot (press L to enter the menu)" and it was disabled. I enabled it and now emunand autolaunches when I touch the homebrew app. (No need to click on "RUN CFW" anymore) :grog:

So I'm gonna proceed with the fourth part, is there a way to check that I did everything correctly until now?

EDIT: Since the topic is changed, I opened a new thread, Thank you guys, I appreciated a lot your help!
