Well at least you can trust valve to bring good games. Though I am not exactly a fps guy. I founder platformers much more enjoyable.

That game was intended for a more mature audience, that doesn't mean the gamers who play it are mature. The immaturity level of gamers in online FPS games is one of the reasons I quit playing them. There are still some FPS games on PC where most of the players are adults. I got a 10 year old who won't play Nintendo games, he wants to play the stuff I'm playing. Handed him the pad and told him if he could beat a boss on Dark Souls 2 (The Pursuer) in 30 minutes he could play any game he wants. No chance of that happening. For a 10 year old to do that they'd have to be a gaming prodigy.

I'm not really an FPS guy/girl (or whatever I identify as) either, although I do like the occasional shooter game, FPS isn't my style.
Would anyone be against using cartridges (maybe the same as the portable) for the console, other than development concerns?
Not a problem at all. Cartridge could use some good upgrade for the time sake. It is just storing info like a drive or disc does with extra hardware.

The photo feels rather like a sticker than a screen though it seems to have internal lighting in the center. Sharp's free form is perfect for round screen. I just hope big N knows what they are doing.
This may sound absurd but the screen might be capable of simulating the shape of a button, physically.
This might also be capable of hologram.

so a part of the screen has thicker stuffing than its surrounding so that part literally goes above. And you can press the stuffing down but the mechanism force it back up in a while, simulating the pressing.
I can draw something more detailed if someone need further explaination.
Indeed an amazing console if there are proper game support. That might be a problem since nintendo start making bad-quality games.

I am sure it has been mentioned at this point... but I just watched a video about the Pocket Dream (not important), but do you think Nintendo might market this as a portable home system because they intend to include video out options? So it would be like one of the cheap plug n' play games but fully realized a standalone handheld as well.

There's apparently an "insider" with news about the nx release date, price and launch titles. I only read my German source now so in short, a fixed home console by the name "Reach" is set for Christmas at a price tag of 349$ with Zelda (yes, our WiiU Zelda of course) and a Mario Jumpnrun as launch titles. A fitting handheld will come in 2017 for 199$ by the name of "Limit". It serves as a game pad for WiiU emulation on Reach, if you don't have a WiiU tablet controller. Everything sounds too good to be true, i think. Especially when the source said optical media will not be used anymore, but cartridges.

I'm wishing for a console that competes with the ps4 and xboner 1 becacuse, I can't take teenage ignorance of most people recognizing an xbone or playstation better than nintendo consoles... there isn't one time where my parents haven't called my n3ds xl a gameboy... I just want this ignorance towards nintendo in this current gen to end...
