If there was a reason you'd buy the catridge even if you have a flashcart, list it here now =)

*.excluding obvious reasons of supporting the developers / legal issues blabla.

has there been any downsides of playing the japanese versions on flashcart?

what if you weren't able to transfer your pokemon to future pokemon games?

etc.

I plan to download the (U) version and to buy the (E) version.

Same. I'd have to import it to play now, and I don't like importing stuff.

As for why, other than supporting the developers (which I do want to, they deserve it), take the GBA games. How many flash carts could you get to work with Pokemon Colosseum/XD/etc.? Pokemon Battle Revolution could be like that.

Also, I actually plan on going to Nintendo events if possible. Event Pokemon may only be obtainable with legit carts, and in anycase, c'mon. Who goes to an event with a pirate game?

I WOULD buy it but here in Canada the starting price point at my local EB is 65 plust tax
i mean that's almost equal to a ps3 game, i can't pay that much
if it was 35 or 40 then sure but 65 is not worth it

I'd go to an event that gave pokemon if there were any in Australia.

So even to this date with revolutionary flash carts like the R4 and the upcoming M3 Real, Flashcart pokemon cannot go into the Wii?

- on the side note, why does everyone make "pokemon developers" sound like saints

Nope, because Pokemon Battle Revolution connects to the DS by having the DS go to the Download Play option in the DS menu. Then it looks for the card in slot 1. The only way it would work is if the card was a real Diamond or Pearl card. Thats one the the few reasons I pre-ordered instead of downloading. I still will download the rom if it's dumped before I get the game. Pokemon developers are saints. Everybody plays Pokemon. Whether you paid for it or not, whether your 10 or 40 years old, it dosen't matter. The make terrific games (maybe not so much spinoff games) and they have endless play time. And how else do you compliment developers who have sold over 150 Million games in just over 10 years?

The last game I needed to "buy" was the R4DS. The only time that will change is if some game, for whatever reason, doesn't work through it.

I'm nothing if I'm not honest.

Who says that the pirated version will not work with Pokemon Battle Revolution? I see a lot of people saying that they are going to buy it just for Pokemon Battle Revolution compatibility, but i never saw a message of it not being compatible
