Hi All,

I've had a lot of fun installing retro emulators onto the homebrew channel. I use letter bomb to hack HBC on.

However, I keep encountering something called modMii. I think it may be the solution to problems I'm having with WiiFlow, CustomThemes and CustomChannels. However, I have tried to start the ModMii wizard and i was very disappointing to see that LetterBomb is not in the list of supported hacks for ModMii. I have to buy some LEGO games or some shit to use it?

Also, just what is the advantage to using ModMii over not using it. I believe it will give me more up to date code and better compatibility with various HBC apps, however, the fact the ModMii refers to hacks that don't work on 4.3 I'm concerned that ModMii is basically obsolete now.

Are you sure those disc base exploits don't work?
You don't like disc base exploits doesn't mean they won't work and there is Wilbrand, care to google it?

Do i need to own the discs to do the disc exploits? Because I don't own any disks :-(

I googled Willbrand obv, it's an older version of letter bomb that stopped working after System Menu v3.0. I have 4.3E.

Made me think ModMii is essentially obsolete now, but idk.

EDIT: May have misread the Willbrand guide, I'll have a go next week.

If you already have a Wii that is soft modded then why do you care if ModMii doesn't use the Letterbomb exploit?

The thing I like about ModMii is that if you run a syscheck on your Wii, you can drag and drop the file it creates onto ModMii and it will tell you what needs to be updated. It will also download everything you need as well as generate a guide for you to follow.

ModMii is great for people to build things like NEEK kernels and cIOSes without asking for links to stuff we can't post. :/

LetterBomb is part of the HBC installation. Why not just go to http://please.hackmii.com and generate the files yourself? You only need it once.

You don't need to buy a LEGO game if you have already used Letterbomb and have HBC installed, I know that for sure.

You should be alright to use it still.

It sounds like ModMii means it can help with the HBC install process (disc haxx) if needed.

Yaeh, i think I've got it. ModMii simply builds the contents of the sd card with some extra gubbins. Since I've already done the HackMii installer and can get the extra gubbins separately anyway; I don't think I need it.

I have helped XFlak a little bit with creating ModMii. ModMii is still %98 of XFlak's own doing, but I was there with him throughout the whole time while he was making it and he bounced many ideas off of me and asked for my opinion many times on things regarding his program.

If you know me, then you know I am in the upper part of the wii hacking scene, especially when it comes to hardware. I still use ModMii for almost everything whenever I need to do some wii work. Everything is just so easy, and XFlak made it that way for a reason. His app is so damn versatile.
