Xenoblade works perfectly fine on SKY3DS+.
Trimming a ROM does not affect the files unless you trim the updates files.

Red Version. You can get the Blue for about 70-80 dollars, Although I've been hearing that the Blue version is having trouble playing the latest games? something to do with the new coding Nintendo put on the games with the latest update.

Why do you want to use CubicNinja? I believe that Sky3ds can only play 3ds games and not DS games, for that you may want to look at the R4gold, which costs around 12 bucks.
They probably want homebrew or a way to downgrade. Cubic Ninja is a 3DS game btw. @Xexyz you'll probably want the red button which I can't imagine going for more than $60 USD.

Are you changing the CART_ID in your cfg file? This can cause the 3DS to say the game card cannot be used. Also check if your ROMs are becoming BAD files.
I don't know how to check if the Rom files are being corrupted, If you know of a way I'll check. I don't mess with any of the file names, just drag and drop. Also, what's the CFG file do? I see it in the SD card, but I have no idea what it does.

You should have a cfg file for every game. Your private header goes in here. The Sky 3DS team says to change the CART_ID and GAMESAVE_KEY in the file, but changing the CART_ID made games stop working for me so don't bother with it. Just change the GAMESAVE_KEY. BAD is a file extension and files that fail to open will become this. So if you try to run a modified ROM it would go from game.3ds to game.3ds.bad

None of the files have bad the BAD extension in them, Also I tried a new SD card (Samsung 32gb) and the same games that don't work still won't pop up. So it may be the card. I just need to contact the company and see if they'll send me a replacement.

Hey everyone, I just bought the Sky3ds+ about a couple of days ago, and I realized that a couple of the Roms that I own won't work on the Sky3ds+. Since I haven't seen a list of what doesn't work I decided to start one.

Roms that don't work (on my Sky3ds+)

Animal crossing - New Leaf
Etrian Odyssey Untold - The Millennium Girl
Resident Evil Revelation
Xenoblade Chronicles

Etrian Odyssey Untold works. I've been playing it for the past few days.

Update* Solved. (at least on my Sky3ds.) I came across a forum where a person was having the same problem I was, they said that the problem wasn't with the Sky3ds cartridge but with the roms themselves. Supposedly, most of the roms online are copies of digital copies and not physical ones. This can lead to broken roms. I just tried downloading a rom from roms43, which is suppose to have physical copies of roms and one of the games that was not working (Etrian odyssey: millennium girl) worked. I suggest you look at the roms you have before returning your Sky3ds.

Xenoblade Chronicles on my sky3ds+ is not even detected. No .cfg or .bad file created. Trimmed down to 3.7 gig with 3ds Explorer v1.5.
