You can run hacks on 5.3.2, not 5.3.0. But don't worry about it until the IOSU Exploit is released, cause you might be fine there.

Dear all, today I just purchased a copy of Splatoon to update my Wii U from 4.0.0 to 5.3.2. I just scared about Splatoon title reprint with newer firmware.
On the box I can read:

No other codes are on the disk
Is there a way to know if the Splatoon disk I have, will install FW 5.3.2??

Just my luck, thought I read somewhere it came with 5.1.2. And I wanted to update my wii u for use of hdmi for video and component for sound, so got it yesterday only to find out too late it updated to 5.5.0.
No kernel for me at the moment I guess.
Ah well, at least I can enjoy myself a new game.

Just got my copy but don't know what version yet. Here's information from back of the case:

Logic says it's going to be 5.5.0 or 5.5.1, based on when the discs were printed. Highly unlikely that they were printing discs before Aug 17, 2015 (when 5.5.0 was released).
