I just started using a new computer, and I'm having a problem I can't seem to find any information about. Last night, I set up the Toshiba Bluetooth stack, got the computer to detect my Wii U Pro Controller, and then moved on to other things for several hours. When I finally went back to fiddling with the Bluetooth, I couldn't get it to reconnect with the Pro Controller, nor could I get it to even detect a Wiimote. Since then, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Toshiba stack three times, and no matter what I do, I can't get it to detect anything. I'm at a loss at this point...I figure it's got to be related to something I did during the "moved on to other things for several hours" part, but I don't have any idea what that could be (especially since most of it was just reading stuff online and transferring files from my other PC). Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: For what it's worth, I'm using Windows 10.

Controller stopped working, Im guessing because of the SCHP drivers for PS3 pad but uninstallled it and Toshiba drivers and reinstalled. Controller connects with toshiba software as usual but the controller doesnt respond to inputs.

I know this might be considered off topic, but with the Mayflash Wii U Pro to PC Adapter all that fiddling with Bluetooth stacks and stuff just isn't necessary. I bought one on Amazon for around $15, and only after it arrived did I realize it could also allow me to use my Wii U Pro controller near flawlessly with my PS3, too. :yayu:
You may read reviews about button mapping being weird (based on lettering instead of position) but they fixed that with a software update. With the adapter in Xinput mode you can even play Steam games, and as I already said, in Dinput mode you can use it with a PS3.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful for what you've done @KeyPuncher but needing to use that Toshiba stack (and get around Windows' stupid unsigned drivers issue) was just too much trouble for me.

Just to let everyone know I have just made a change to Nintroller.dll to get rid of the Toshiba Stack requirement for Windows 8 & 10 users.
Check it out here http://www.wiinupro.com/news/solongtoshiba

....
As of now only MGS5 seem effected, other games I tested seem to be working OK. My controller is drunk lol.
I still haven't found anything that might provide a solution to this problem, I'd probably would need MGS5 to test and debug. In the meantime I suggest cutting off all booze supplies to your controller.

... Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: For what it's worth, I'm using Windows 10.
You can uninstall that Toshiba Stack and try out the Hotfix for WiinUSoft 2.1 mentioned above.

Understandable, it's no longer needed as of today.

Ok uninstalled toshiba stack so not using that dongle anymore as its now dedicated for the ps3 pad with scp driver.

Pro controller added with built in motherboard bluetooth but same problem, i.e. its added, the pad will vibrate when pressing the i icon in the app but the key presses are not recognised.

Sorry for being a scrub

hmm so this is the 1st time trying this myself, I downloaded the latest version and installed it, downloaded the hotfix(Nintroller.dll) and placed it(replaced the file) in the installed directory... I didn't do the toshiba thing, I simply went into my bluetooth settings in Windows 10 and paired the controller(it even shows up in device manager in bluetooth as: Nintendo RVL-CNT-01-UC)... well then afterwards my problem is that I run the WiinUSoft and its not recognizing my controller as in nothing shows up on the left side.

What do I have to do or what am I missing, like what are the current 2016 instructions? lol

Just in case I am trying to do this with an HP Stream 7 tablet with its built in bluetooth - checking Device Manager right-click Bluetooth Radio > Properties > Details > Hardware Ids, what it provides is only this: ACPI\RTK8723
Can that be used on the old way? To me it doesn't look like the normal hardware/vendor ids

Strange, maybe there is a disconnect with WiinUSoft and the SCP driver.. I'll look into any potential problems.

I just experienced a blank left side today when testing on Windows 8 after a user reported it not showing their controller. I'll have to look deeper into this issue, at first I thought it might be platform specific even though 8 & 10 are almost the same internally, but it sounds like there is something else lurking around.
The most up to date instructions is the one for installing the Toshiba Stack on the website. I do need to do an overall usage and quick start guide.
I've never seen a hardware ID like that for Bluetooth, perhaps it will work perhaps it won't, I'm afraid I don't have the answer to that one.

If you're going to buy an adapter, why not just get the Mayflash one? It's so much more convenient than using a bluetooth adapter and this software. Controllers automatically sync and just work without any headache

See my flag?, there is no chance to get that adapter. So I'm looking for alternatives availables in my country. (buying on ebay doesnt count 'cause my country's mail service is very (very) poor (there is a chance that the service itself will steal my package, that much is f*cked up)

So long the bundled adapter allows you to manually add bluetooth devices, you can Toshiba it, and it will just work.

Got a trendnet (TBW-106UB)

It works now BUT now I have this problem

It only recognizes 3 buttons, Vjoy is working fine showing 18 or 128 buttons everywhere I look, but WiiUpro (from BETA 1 to 7.1) always lets me just pick up to 3 Joystick buttons and NO Joystick Axis

Hey guys sorry for the necro but this topic is the biggest (and almost only) anything on the internet in relation to using the wiiupro on pc.

Was working fine til about an hour ago.

Now when I try to connect the controller as soon as it "connects" the lights stop blinking and the controller is disconnected.

Found a post like 30 pages back about mashing buttons on the front of the controller, did not work.

It is not a problem with my adapter as everything else connects fine.

I tried using both microsoft bluetooth and toshiba stack and they both have the same problem.

Detect and register the controller, click connect, detects the bluetooth signal and connects, controller is INSTANTLY disconnected.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

EDIT: Works absolutely fine with my laptop

So to cover it all

Everything working smoothly - all of a sudden controller instantly disconnects from PC bluetooth as soon as it connects, using either toshiba stack or microsoft bluetooth

PC Bluetooth of both kinds work flawlessly for any other device

Controller works flawlessly with laptop bluetooth

Have uninstalled/reinstalled EVERYTHING multiple times, made sure I deleted the controller configuration and everything too

Literally everything other than the controller with the PC bluetooth adapter works flawlessly, and I get the same problem using either tosh/microsoft drivers

Just that adapter does not like my controller all of a sudden

Having the exact same issue as Deputy_McNuggets and sendblink23. Was able to connect the controller through the Toshiba Bluetooth stack and had it detected by WiinUSoft as well. I was trying out the turbo functions through WiinUPro and when they weren't working in the game I tested (I hadn't installed vjoy), I turned the controller off holding down the power button. Ever since doing that, the controller can be found by both the toshiba bluetooth stack and the Microsoft bluetooth manager and even seen as connected by both programs, but the blue LED won't show a connection and the lights just blink for a short while when pressing sync to try and pair the controller and then they turn off. No idea what's caused this but having tried uninstalled and reinstalling everything as well as both hotfixes for WiinUSoft, nothing's turned up any success so far.
