Thanks added those aswell!cheers , other progress is the elf loader , maybe this could be included also..
Actually I did it to play SSB, the exploits in this topic works also in 5.5.1, I won't be responsible if it doesn't, but Hykem said his IOSU exploit still works on 5.5.1 and the exploits are seemingly reported working on it. It's just that there are less "entrypoints" on 5.5.1. Waiting the others to confirm my says thowondering if i should update to 5.5.1 aah, cause i would need to play some SSB this week with some friends etc.
will wait abit more though, xD
Well waiting a bit can allways mean nintendo rolling out another update and from what i read, it SHOULD be safe. I just updated yesterday to be able to play sploot again.wondering if i should update to 5.5.1 aah, cause i would need to play some SSB this week with some friends etc.

No problem, can I just have a link to it please?Mind linking my server on here?
Here you go.No problem, can I just have a link to it please?
I've tried to not post on this site for years. But then I saw something today that made me wonder if an exploit could be written.
http://arstechnica.com/security/201...zzying-number-of-apps-and-devices-vulnerable/
and
https://github.com/fjserna/CVE-2015-7547
From what I gather, you could set up your own malicious DNS server and point the Wii U to it. If the Wii U calls getaddrinfo() while pointing to the malicious DNS server, it's supposed to enable remote code execution.
I'm a developer, but not a PPC dev, nor am I familiar enough with low-level exploits at this time. So my entire post may be complete nonsense. Gonna play with it after work though.

Total plug, but try this. It is supposed to be relatively lightweight and easy to setup.hi long time lurker (4 months or so) and first time poster
now i tryed to run homebrew for the first time today and im sorry if this question is allready anwsered but i cant find it:
i wanted to play pong on a fw:5.50 wiiu using a closed wlan network pc(host)->wlan -> wiiu , i folowed to guide above (in this post)now my question is do i need to have a sd card in my wiiu with some kind of data/file structure , because i know that if u want to do loadiin that u need to have something on a sd card to load
because when i tried to open the pong from "http://05sonicblue.com/wiiuhax"(self host) it just opened it like a directory with no .mp4 in it,
same goes for all (except loadine v3 , that opened the media player and froze my wiiu)
so ya because im a scatter brain ill try to sum the question up:
- on 5.5.0E
- self hosting exploits
- cant find .mp4,s
- do i need sd card in wiiu and if so does it need to contain something ( for pong)
is it for win 10 ? seems like unix based , thanks for quick reply btwTotal plug, but try this. It is supposed to be relatively lightweight and easy to setup.
Windows, LInux, Mac, whatever; it uses Java.is it for win 10 ? seems like unix based , thanks for quick reply btw
It's not an exploit I'm familiar with, but then on 5.5.0 we only see them as they pass us bye.....Hmm me thinks the glibc vulnerability would give users o n latest fw a chance of exploiting there console
Well this could get interesting. I'm still hoping for at least an emulator here. Anyone with the real know how looking into it yet? I know it's not as desirable due to vc injects on the lower firmwares but I'm just curious.
Well I suppose ha-ha. Ds injection is gonna be nice. There's not really an point since the Nintendo emulators are so nice. Anyone would be waiting for IOSU to start developing one, and at that point we can just do injection so...
