Im pretty sure this is animcmd.exe's fault. I heard the next update will fix many things, this may be one of them.

It might compress to a larger file size due to modifications, since dt/ls uses zip compression.

Well. i was messing around with one song in the correct file structure on the sd, installed a USA cia and the 1.1.4 usa saltysd cia and my music played! the surprising part is im using reinand and didnt boot into freemultipatcher on a EUR console...

you mean it played on the european game? or didit play on an USA game?

European N3DS, reinand 9.2 sys-10.5emu, freemultipatcher isn't enabled, USA CIA files (game, 1.1.4 SSD, final dlc pack) and it is running perfectly.

just put all the contents form the c00 and the h00 in the correct place on the sd. For instance, if I was switching ness and lucas I would take the c00 and the h00 from lucas and put it into saltysd/smash/model/fighter/ness/body/c00 and saltysd/smash/model/fighter/ness/body/h00

I swapped ness and DK, normal DK skins still loaded...

Basically, this can be used if you want to make an un-dub of the game, or if you want to load all the .bin's from an older update. Define really slow, loading or in general? Loading a match the first time I boot the game (after shutting down) it takes a good extra 10 seconds, after that it's really not noticeable.

Like when choosing a character, it lags while moving the cursor(hand).

Never heard about generating a cache.
Edit: also get infinite loading after choosing a stage.

Assuming you know a bit how to use command line (or how to edit a batch) here you go. The three bats all do the same thing (generate the cache.bin), just use the one appropriate for whatever drive your SD shows up as.
