Nowhere in that reddit post does it say it will work on 2.6 rxTools, and the moron (quoted below) who told you it did work, admitted he hadn't even tested it.

What method did you use?
Rxtools patching didn't work for me so i downloaded the TWL Launcher cia that Apache Thunder provided in the first post. Installed it to NAND via FBI(while booted to emunand)
Works like a charm.

after replacing the elf file in /rxTools/sys/patches/ folder:
Cyclo DS iEvO - works
yup, M3i ZERO [GMP-Z003] works
Hyperkin Game Genie [DS] - boots the 3 Game & watch collections game.

After applying the cia update on my 3ds emuannd and sysnand I am no longer able to launch ds games, very strange.

This happens if there's a version mismatch between the whitelist and the TWL_FIRM, the whitelist in sysnand and emunand, or if you installed the TWL_FIRM for the wrong console.

Re-check your installed versions, maybe reinstall them all to be sure.

If in doubt, the full set of all whitelist and FIRM files can be gotten off that iso site.

Turns out that my R4i3DS(RTS) from www.r4ids.cn doesnt show any icons when the microsd card is inserted. But when I remove it, It is read by my 3DS. Do you think I should update my card to the latest firmware?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks to me like that exploit doesn't have SD access. SD access is mandatory for what you want to achieve.

I finally got my r4i 3ds(rts) working on the latest rxtools build. It's kinda weird since it was not read by my 3DS when i was on emunand so i try sysnand, then it works. And then I try emunand again, then voila, it works now in emunand too. Here's a visual of the r4 i am talking about, just in case people wants to know:

As I've said before. There is no source code. This is basically a stripped down SRL with just a basic DS and DSi Extended header. TWL_FIRM is really only reading the TID bytes then immediately jumps to Slot-1. There's no source code in this.

I installed the patched twl_firm for N3ds as cia (from that site from Aurora) as well as the launcher. Both to the nand and both in emunand as well as sysnand.

I have the same flashcard as @Akira, but alas, in neither sys nor emu it opens.

In emu nor the launcher nor directly does anything (gives black screen)

In sys regular instantly gives error while launcher gives black screen

Any ideas?

The R4 has the latest Wood as far as i know and I did do the "3DS Setup" on it once.

My stuff:
New3ds
Emunand: 10.5.0-30
Sysnand: 9.2.0-WhateverNverItShouldBe
Region: Europe
RxTools version: 3.0 beta 2

I believe the original r4 will not work with 3DS.

What I did is download the the wood kernel on the r4ids website and replace the one on my sd. Try doing that.
